I believe they raced to appoint McGregor when they did because there would have been more outrage from the disgruntled after these last 2 losses, which of course they would say that they expected to win but anyone with any kind of realistic judgement realised that we were more than an even chance of losing.

It is interesting to note that since we are winning & playing good football the doom makers have gone quiet. Hope the boys can keep up the momentum & finish the season on a bright note even if they may happen to miss the playoffs.

Don't blame me Stalker. I didn't make, or anoint his appointment. You can blame me or accuse me of my weakness of supporting the Dragons, or the Mighty Saints at all times and trying to keep it positive but don't ever accuse me of being acceptable of mediocrity.

It's been stated many times that the Dragons fans are the most demanding of success. It's that 11 in a row ( which I think is sometimes a burden on where we are now, far too many old boys, and living in the past, backward board and leagues club)
Setting aside the on field performance, the biggest issue for me is almost complete loss of faith with the current board and CEO to really turn this great club, into a modern club in structure, marketing and thinking. We can't keep fluke signings and for me 2015 is litmus test, we have half a dozen guys who could be moved on, but who will the club replace?
The whole junior development and talent recruitment needs to be reviewed. We need buy talent to slot in now and stop the constant buying of fringe player policy over the last 3 years..

It may turn out that Peter Doust is the champion administrator that stayed on too long, when instead he shoud have quit on a high.

Indeed, where is the playing talent going to come from, that will raise our fortunes and put us back in our place as an elite team? ...Or is it up to the coach?

And, how's that "organic growth" coming along?

For all his rhetoric - it could turn out that Peter Doust is the single greatest liability that ultimately devalues "the brand" :shock:
