Got my seats allocated today in the Cronin Stand. Pretty happy as a first time season ticket holder.

Your lucky. I have put in a request to move my seats yet no one from the membership department has called, and you cant even get through to them via telephone.

I sent emails and always heard back within a couple of days. I gave up trying to call last year.

Sounds like it's a farce. Existing ticket holders should get preference over newcomers.

This ticketing dept is a joke!

I got a phone call the week before Christmas regarding extra seats I was after, probably worth chasing them up

I got a call last week and moved mine, she left a message and took me a few tries to get in touch but finally got there.

This is half true, i renewed before the 7th of December and only got called a month later. That's means any of the new members who joined in that month potentially got seats in Bay 7 (where I ideally wanted) before an existing long term season ticket holder was even consulted.

I ended up getting Bay 9 which I am ok with as they are much better than the seats I had in Bay 3.

I wouldn't call them a joke though, they are a product of the very poorly run business that is now hopefully on the improve under some new leadership and guidance........next year will be their test imo.

I agree they were far far worse last year.

I renewed the afternoon renewals became available and got the call before christmas, there were only about 2 or 3 sets of 2 seats together available in bay 7 at this time.

I've sent them a few emails as well but I am yet to hear back from them.

It's getting beyond a joke, this will make three years in a row now where I have had issues renewing my season tickets.

I can't see this improving while they still have the same monkeys in the membership department.

It's not rocket science:

Step 1: Current members have until allocated date to renew.
Step 2: After allocated date has expired, all current members who have not renewed have their seats entered back into the pool.
Step 3: All renewed members who have requested to move seats can do so in the order they were received in.
Step 4: All new memberships are processed, but not until renewed members have their seats moved.

Has anyone here become season ticket holders for the first time and received their seating allocation?

Our membership packs will be out early February? I suppose that's better than how some people didn't even receive them before seasons kick off last year but Souths have issued an apology to their fans who didn't receive them before Xmas. http://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news-display/rabbitohs/67084
Just another example of how our fans are treated compared to those in other clubs.
It's the same old story - there simply aren't enough staff to service our members adequately.
I don't care if things are better or worse than last year or the year before - the fact is that much of our opposition leave our club for dead in this area and clearly place a much higher priority on their fans than we do IMO.

Here is a copy of the email I sent to the club tonight. The club has got worse every year. I have been a ticket holder since the ground opened. Purchased two new seats this year giving me 8 tickets. Still not even a call from the club just like last year.

Attention Ken Edwards and the Membership Team

I would like to raise an issue we are having regarding our Season Ticket renewal for 2013. We have been season ticket holders since 1986 when the stadium opened. I would like to make a complaint about the continuing poor service and communication from our Football Club.

After renewing our 6 seats and purchasing 2 additional seats for our young children during the renewal process I then attempted to make contact with someone within the Football Office to discuss our ticketing requirements in regards to seating and costs. On 6 separate occasions over a 2 week period in November and December I left a message and was assured I would be contacted according to your recording. After becoming extremely frustrated I called the Leagues Club who gave me another number to contact you. The young lady on the end of the phone was quiet short and rude and said she would call to discuss our requirements in the middle of December. She also advised me that you will have to be content with whatever seats we give you. At this time it is now the middle of January and I have not been contacted by anyone and the only evidence I have of being season ticket holder this year is a debit to my credit card in November with the below receipt emailed through. To say as Season Ticket holders we are disgusted at being treated in this way would be an understatement. To be told that we have no choice in the seat location for the new tickets which we are purchasing for our 4 & 2 year old children is a little worrying. We like to go to the football as a family with our friends who we have been sitting with for the last 10 years. What makes this worse is that this is exactly the same problem we have had over the last few years in regards to lack of communication and service from the Football Club. We attempted last year to purchase additional tickets for our children (even though they were not required to officially due to age) and had the same problem. We have 4 seats in one row and 2 in the row in front. We asked last year that if the next 2 seats in the row in front were available we would love to have them so we could all be together. We were advised that the same people who had the tickets previously had renewed them and were very surprised to find that was not the case and that they had moved. The seats were then issued to new members before being offered to us. In all the publicity regarding increasing memberships, it would be nice to know that consideration is still given to existing members. This issue also stems to ANZ Stadium as we have 6 seats and are sitting separately. Surprisingly sitting children on their own seems a little irresponsible. Considering the size of ANZ Stadium we are baffled to understand how this could be so hard to get right. The seating at ANZ was always separate from the beginning of the arrangement and considering all seats are purchased together at Parramatta Stadium by me we surprised to find our tickets not together at ANZ Stadium.

As loyal supporters, Football Club Members, Season Ticket Holders and Perpetual Leagues Club Members I would like to feel that you would be valuing our loyalty ahead of new members and eagerly await someone finally bothering to contact us regarding our seating. We have attached below a copy of the official receipt which contains our information. We wish to stay seated within the area we are now located in and will be quiet upset if you give vacant seats from renewing members in our area ahead to new ticket holders before giving us our seating preferences.

Regards
Stuart

They are a disgrace.
