I just bought Lamb Of God's new album, "Resolution"...I highly recommend it. I know they don't have many fans here (not sure why tbh) but IMO this new album is close to their best work.

Yep it's pretty good. On first listen Ashes of the Wake is better though...we'll see

I'll have to get the new LOG CD before SW. Depending on the timetables, they're a band I'll probably see. Seen 'em before too.

Early Rammstein was actually pretty good - you know, well before Du Hast and all that shit.

I first heard them on the soundtrack to The Lost Highway. The track 'Rammstein' kicks arse. Much more powerful and captivating than the commercial shit that followed.

Lamb of God and Machine Head were probably my favourites.

Had a 5-band-in-a-row marathon on the metal stage, was utterly wrecked by the end of it.
Started up the back for In Flames and Trivium, moved in a bit for Mastodon, got to the fence for Lamb of God and Black Label Society.

Saw Devin Townsend and Meshuggah last night at The Factory.

Dev - insane, hilarious, awesome.
Meshuggah - brutal.

I love Meshuggah but it seems like the speaker stacks never quite capture their true sound.
