That's why I love SW. Although I despise festivals and never go to them, it does provide us with an awesome array of sidewaves to choose from.

Went to the Cathedral/Paradise Lost sidewave down here in Melbourne, was great to see PL again and catch Cathedral on their final tour. Also heard a rumour from another attendee that Autopsy might be heading down under some time soo, f**k i hope thats true!

Hi guys, Probably should have posted this last week. Anyway, A mate of mine is the new JJ The Racket host. Have a listen Tuesdays from 10. 2nd show tonight. He knows his shit inside out and has a huge passion for heavy music.

Iced Earth and Amon Amarth both have Sydney shows in April
Devildriver in May

I'm so disappointed Iced Earth gave Brisbane a miss. Hopefully the shows they play in Sydney and Melbourne are well attended and they came back and hit Brisbane as well next time.

I'll be at Amon Amarth for sure, and been looking forward to a DD headlining tour for a while so I'll most likley get to that one as well.

Nice, i've been a casual Cannibal Corpse fan. Love their albums the bleeding and vile. It got a bit too repitive for me after that. Would love to see them live though, their amazing musicians.

Didn't they get banned from Australia before their last tour?

I'm a bit late in this thread but favourite bands are:

Tool.............Metallica, Lamb of God, Korn, Rammstein, Disturbed, Hatebreed.

I don't particularly dislike any genre, I listen to bits and pieces of everything. Can appreciate some old Metal (Guns n Roses, early Metallica), death metal (don't mind Cannibal Corpse), Nu metal, thrash, etc.

Notable albums:
Anything by Tool but Aenima is easily the greatest album ever made.
Metallica - S&M was cool for something different
Korn - Life is Peachy

Fair enough. I like them though, good fun band.

saw them at Soundwave and they really looked and sounded like a teeny bopper hair band but I now some people like them

each to their own I guess but looked a bit out of place at Soundwave
