Absolutely, almost 20 years on from his prime and there isn't a performer since then that is a pimple of the arse of Michael Jackson.

As for why we all feel the loss of michael jackson and not the bloke down the street. I don't know the bloke down the street and nothing he did had an influence or played a role in my life. I guess it's a case of the soundtrack to your life kind of thing.

It sounds evil, but all day I haven't been able to shake that South Park episode from my mind.

"Stop it Blanket- that's ignoraaaaaant! Blanket- you're being ignoraaaaaaaant!"

Whatever anyone thinks of Michael Jackson personally, his musical accomplishments and contributions can't be denied.
RIP MJ. Hope he has the peace he never seemed to find in life.
Hope that last comment isn't taken the wrong way.

R.I.P Michael Jackson. Forever will be the King Of Pop.

Thriller album is still one of my faves to this day!

I really struggle to give a sh*t about Michael Jacksons death. At the end of the day he was dancer who could sing, his lyrics weren't particularly memorable, and his personal life was very very questionable. Its sad for his family and friends and probably similar to Elvis Presley, his early death was created by those around him a long time ago, but i find it a little disgusting the media coverage being devoted to one plastic prescription drug abusing persons death. I mean last year Tokin Blackman from Tism and DD and Taz from the meanies both lost their lives, these people sounded like beter people, down to earth regular guys and of course there was barely a mention. Thats how it should be, they arent different people due to being famous.

Compare this to the situation in Iran where people are being shot by their own government, in Africa where people die from starvation and preventable diseases, hell there was a train accident where over ten people died yesterday in the states, these are much sadder and more tragic event than the death of a popstar.

Thats cos TISM are sh*t (but who the f**k isnt)
But it isnt about that, they were simply examples of band people who died recently receiving little to no coverage, despite being for the most part better people. Its about how insignificant this moment is in comparrison to what else is ahppening in the world. I feel for Jackson's family because its never good to lose a family member and i hope thye get the privacy they desire, but i personally couldnt give a sh*t, because there are far more important happening and far more tragic happening in the world at this moment than a plastic, drug abusing suspected pedophile passing away.
