Haha. He let one bounce the other week when it was pouring and blowing a gail in the worst conditions we had played in 18 months... tonight charlie just showed no heart or determination to get to the ball. Was no ones fault but his that try.
You’ve been deathriding Charlie all year ya f**king idiot. Edwards showed no heart and determination last week to get to the one he let bounce. Only an utter moron would bag a rookie more than veteran for making the exact same mistake.

LOL what? Penrith's pack had you covered once we stopped dropping the ball and throwing forward passes like we did between minutes 7-37.

Fish absolutely dominated RCG and the rest of our pack was generally on top of yours. Only in the last 5 minutes did you guys start getting dominant field position again, and that was almost solely off the back of the boot of Moses. Panthers field kicking was very average even poor.

Saw a different game. Nothing in this one. Anyone could of won.
Storm would of blow the ass end out of both

Gutho had a big performance, threw the intercept to get us up field before our fist try and then threw a foward pass before our second try, then to cap it all off Moses chokes on the game winner. Parra are flat track bullies if you ask me, they should’ve let Moses walk.

The difference was a field goal and a 50/50 kick at end of game missed. I probably wouldn't beat my chest on the performance. I enjoyed the test for the Eels. Had Guth not made those errors they probably win that game. They also showed when offload it trouble you guys and also ways not to attack. They won't try and go around them next time they meet. I felt Penrith played like they where meant to win. Parra played a little scared. They will take huge confidence from that. Very little between these two sides.

Cleary however would of made a large difference. Mahoney would of made a big one also.
Rnd 25 maybe a fizzer if neither side has nothing to play for. Let's hope we meet in finals.
I reckon Storm finish 1st. And Panthers 2nd or 3rd. Manly have a soft draw and will just about win out. I have them in 4th so chances are we may not play again in a game that matters.

Moving forward good luck come finals. Both sides have heaps of work to do to get within 20 of the Storm.

Staines had that awful moment but that just puts him on par with Dylan there. He looked so much more natural in being the extra man on sweep plays. I'm convinced he'll be an NRL fullback
Staines had 1 bad moment that was worse than Edwards. Saved a try and looked so much better on sweep plays than Edwards.

Seriously this is getting to Moylan levels already.

Staines did OK but f**k me last week Edwards was being called a coward for not challenging for a much harder ball that didn’t directly result in a try. This week that same error which leads directly to a try is just a ‘1 bad moment but’….

We look so much more assured with Edwards at the back. His kick returns, positioning and back up play are superior as is his defence - see Papalli line break.

Staines speed can certainly add something coming off the wing for set plays or just to get more involved (we all want him more involved) but he isn’t in the same hemisphere as Edwards as a fullback currently.

No Mik. We cooked a few pies and a pot of tomato soup then watched it in while ate in bed. Cold night.

As I said a field goal separated this. Guths intercept and forward pass cost us also. As did Staines letting ball bounce.

On Staines I thought he went well. He carts the ball back stronger then I imagined. Give him 12mths in the position not 1 game against a top 4 side. In hindsight if had Laurie this season and flicked Edwards then I reckon go up a level.

Sorenson was excellent. At this point he is a far better option then Eisenhuth. He is better then Spencer on form also. He has to stay in the 17.

Staines should go play fullback in NSW CUP.

Best 1 - 7 for this season is

1 Dylan
2 Too
3 Crighton
4 Burton
5 Naden/ Jennings

That's my thoughts.

It would be pretty weird if Edwards didn’t look more confident and just the better fullback at this point since he's actually been playing the position. Staines hasn't had the chance for two years.

But let's not ignore the good he did as well in an effort to death ride the kid.

You mean the nsw cup that wasn't played last year and has now been called off for this year?

Who is death riding him? I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy and the double standards when judging players.

The reason people are critical of Staines is because he doesn’t involve himself which in a way is a compliment to his ability because we want him involved to better our team.

That is rubbish. This was the first time, in first grade, that Staines has played full back. Yes he made mistakes, and one of his mistakes led to a try. Give him another crack, and another pre season, and he will be fine.

Charlie is going ok but no one is Moyza. He came into the side and won game after game for us, quite often by himself. What a man

Being realistic is death riding?

A wins a win. Not much else to say really. I did an over time shift at work, so I had to listen to the game on the Radio. I’ll watch it later. The Boys sounded a bit flat.

One thing Lewy did say though, was that the word from the dressing sheds was that Nathan’s scans aren’t as bad as were first thought. That’s encouraging.
