Definately a very 80's sounds IMO but not an early 80's Metallica sound.

The new songs don't sound too bad but Cyanide sounds like sh*t, hopefully the studio recording is a lot better. Also am I the only one that thinks My Apocalypse sounds very similar to Battery?

put it this way

I play in a band and we play pretty damn loud.

They were about 4 times as loud as us.

I was well pissed up so it is a bit of a blur.
The crowd were right into it.
Lots of hair flicking.

They played lots of early stuff that only hardcore fans would be familiar with.
I am only familiar with the usual classic older songs prior to the black album.
I can't remember nothing else matters being played if you know what I mean.

I dont really get into cover bands that do the one band tribute thing.
It is a bit sick & freaky IMO.

''One" sounded a bit lame ...although the lead guitarist was a standout .
I am not sure who he was pretending to be though.

I'm not sure iwould go and see a Metallica cover band to be honest.. I know i would be dissapointed..

You wouldn't expect a Metallica cover band would bother with anything but the early stuff would you? I wouldn't want to see anyone try and replicate the St Anger sound..

Testaments new album is killer, cant wait to see them again in a few weeks.
