Classic example of re-interpreting events to suit your agenda. No-one would ever in a million years credit a JT or Cronk try assist to lead up work by other players on previous tackles or to deficiencies in the oppositions defensive work. But when it's Mitchell Pearce, we can't possibly admit that he may have done something good, so we explain it away however we can.
I hate Pearce as much as anyone for his lack of performance in sky blue over several years, but he had a pretty good year for the Roosters this year, and he played well last night. To pretend otherwise is to let your bias determine your views.
Cheers for that post JM but haters are always going to find excuses to not give him credit. Personally I really don't care what they think, he has been good for the club, but I do get a laugh out of their pain.Classic example of re-interpreting events to suit your agenda. Since when has Jaubs having a coffee been newsworthy?
oh, and did you know that this year Pearce has the most line break assists, and equal most try assists?

Did you know he was the only player to have over 20 try assists and 20 line break assists?
Hmm not quite. He actually only had 19 Line break assists

Did you know Brett Finch once had the most try-assists, & that Matt Orford won the Dally M player of the year?
Pearce has been in the top 5 or 10 for each category nearly every year for the past 4-5 years.
The denial and glossing over of facts is amazing on here. He's been a good club halfback for a number of years now.
