Anyway close this thread ... the NRL has acted on this and punishment delt out.... well it was actually the rorters dealing with it but at the end of the day its the same , just as the the rorters organise their own salary cap.... move on on ffs ... new Fords parked where they need to be so end of story.

Im convinced the rorters bribed Dave Smith to cover up the horrendous crime of not leaving a club in an orderly fashion. Imo he should be suspended for 2 yrs like Fergyferg

If more clubs handed out sufficient punishment off their own bat, then the game would be better. Every time the NRL has to stand up and hand out punishment, it makes the clubs look weak.

The tone of your post suggests that you'd be happier if Pearce got a $100 fine and was free to play this week, so long as the NRL made the decision instead of the club. Roosters could've suspended him for a year and fined him a million and we'd still see fans calling it a scam. Sad indictment on our game that fans seem to feel this way.
