Mitchell Pearce has turned out to be a good-un.
I remeber when Lockyer was making them plays for Brisbane not long ago.
Now the fans are watching other teams do it to them.

Again, that's just one game.

I'm talking about an extended period where you can establish a trend.

There is one - The Roosters give away a lot of penalties. Roosters fans love to complain about penalty counts, but they get away with an unbelievable amount of bullshit in the ruck.

Anyway, neither side will convince the other and this thread is about Pearce.

There was an 80's referee who was thought by most of us to award penalties to one team when and where on the field it mattered most, the count means sfa, his numbers miraculously evened out. The Roosters emit an arrogance that attracts penalties by human nature, the same arrogance allows them to work their way through the inevitable

Actually there are two - we also receive the least.

That is a fact; not an opinion.

Lol @ these Rorter fans defending their intentionally ill disciplined team. One day the referees are going to grow some plumbs, put one of your guys in the bin and then your whole game plan defending on your line will go up in smoke.

Wow that's some hardcore butthurt.

Last night must have really hurt. All the ball, all the penalties, an opposition that played terrible, played your best game of the year so far; and still beaten like the dirty QLDers you are.

A pathetic performance from our boys but oh well we'll take it. At this stage it doesn't matter how you win, especially against the minnows like Brisbane. Two points is two points.

Thanks. GG.

What impressed me last night was just how amazingly disciplined the broncos were. They conceded 16 penalties in the first 2 rounds but only 3 last night, one of those for putting a kick off dead on the full. I think the roosters should look and learn at how the broncos were never offside com any tackle last night, did not tackle any players high or late. It was an exhibition of perfection that had to be admired. I guess the roosters being such a crap team without any attacking threats and rubbish forwards meant the broncos did not have to risk being penalized. Well done Brisbane on your amazing discipline. A second shout out to Chanel 9 and Ray Hadley, Darren Lockyer and Wally Lewis for a completely impartial call of the game last night. They were a joy to listen to.

They were indeed amazing. Incredible discipline. After conceding the first penalty of the game in the first few minutes they only conceded one more not including the kick off out on the full. Damn those Qlders are good.

We're lucky we played a minnow and not Manly or Melbourne or otherwise their amazing discipline coupled with our poor performance would have seen us lose.

Had to laugh at this one - it was Sterlo calling out the Roosters last night for giving away deliberate penalties on their line.

Yep. Wally is particularly painful to listen to.

Another fine performance by Mitch this evening against the Big Three of Melbourne. Especially enjoyed it when he sped past Slater
