I seem to recall when he debut in the NRL in 2009 Parra was in 13th place??- obviously he must have played some part in the charge to the 2009 GF??- One has to look at more than 1 player for Parra missing the 8 the last 2 years though and one would say your coach is trying to make your team into the second Melbourne. I would say if Parra are not well in the 8 mid way or 2/3's through the comp in 2012 you maybe looking for a new coach.

Lots of pressure on sandow and roberts in 2012- roberts i seem to recall didn't have a lot of nrl game time in 2011 and was right out of favour too with the coach

Yes, the coach kept picking Kris Keating ahead of him, thats why Kevin Moore is goooooooone.

A. Morts lived off be a good backer-upperer in 2009. And he was very good at that. He fed of the team's willingness to throw the ball around. He came up with some very good plays, mainly because we had oppositions on the back foot 90% of the time and he had miles of room. But largely he played well because the team played well. Could be argued he played rubbish in 10/11 because the team played rubbish, but with changes in game plans all it showed was he didn't really have position in new team.

B. It is almost a certainty that, unless we are running last and the club itself looks shot to shit, that Kearney will be coach come 2013. There's a generally good feeling about the football club at the moment. Going to take something monumentally disastruous for there to be enough pressure to cut Kearney

After the Round 26 game against the Warriors last year in Nathan Cayless's swansong, Suity and I went onto the field and we were both particularly critical of Dan's kicking game that night. We stood 40 metres away from each other and couldn't believe he couldn't get that distance. Of course he's under pressure and in a game situation but one would expect your half to be able to do that.

I'd say he could kick that distance from a standing start. The difference being the reaction time in the NRL is not much and when under the pressure he doesn't have time to get a decent kick away. That's why he's a useless first grader.

I reckon he would make a good fullback...

He played there a few times in the NYC and tbh i thought they were his best games in that comp.......

Great support player, terrible playmaker!

I wish him well for the future and hope Smithy can get something out of him.......

man how negative are everyone in hear towards him, what a joke.

Not me. He is still a kid. Brian Smith will put the polish on him - if he can't no one can- and give him opportunity. I reckon he could be another Chris Mortimer. It's bred in him....
Danny Mortimer ---the big yellow taxi of the Eels...
That's just my opinion....
