Oh whatever he loves himself:roll:

Agreed!

Maybe I'm overrating Benji myself but I think he's a sensational player, who cannot be praised enough.

I agree on Pearce though, I think the fact that he has been rated so highly has caused him to believe he is a better player than he is. He keeps trying to play like Andrew Johns when he doesn't have the natural ability, instinct or skill to pull it off. If I wasn't a Roosters' fan it would be funny to watch.

Pearce gets talked up like he's the next Thurstan when he isn't even good enough to be the next Finch.

I went Pearce: obvious reasons. Gaba has written the file if you need it. Then Pritchard: obvious reasons. Moffo has written the file if you need it. And then I went Gasnier. It was tough deciding between Creagh and Gasnier. The thing is noone rates Braith anymore. Then I decided that really, most fans do not rate Creagh. But all through origin there was a large belief that Gasnier was going to wind the clock the back and look like the attacking player he was before Inglis took the mantle of best centre.

Gasnier still has some highlights in him. But he is overrated for mine by people who still think he is the same threat he was years ago. He is not: overrated.

If I had one choice, it would be Hayne. One of the most overrated players in the history of the game. He isn't even good to watch, just a total Benji Marshall/Andrew Johns wannabe. For every good thing he does, he comes up with 10 f**k ups.

He's played well for half a season in '09 and now thinks he's an immortal. The reality is he's just a slightly above average solid first grader, nothing more nothing less.

Pearce. No need to explain...
Hayne. Has talent and fantastic moments, but farks up at least as often if not more. and is as lazy as they get.
Pritchard. Same as Hayne.

Jarryd Hayne
1 x Dally M Medal
2 x Brad Fittler Medals
One of the most capped NSW players still playing despite only being 23, and a few Australian selections.
Has numerous tries for NSW and Australia.

Josh Dugan
None of the above.

This is by far the biggest myth in the game, spread about by people who have no idea what they are talking about. Take it from someone who watches every Eels game; the problem is that Hayne involves himself way too much rather than too little. Have you watched any Eels 2010 or 2011 game? He has all the responsibility on his shoulders and is expected to do everything, and he does as much as is humanly possible. He has a much higher work-rate than almost any other fullback in the game, bar Billy Slater and perhaps one or two others.

If you are going to criticise him, get your facts right first.
And for his screw ups...... Considering the amount of work he does its no surprise he makes some blues, but unlike many other Eels players over the past few years, at least he has the guts to do what it takes to win.
