Just wanted to share his all time favourite photo and the one I have on his urn.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Mr. A was not just popular with us Sharks fans, he was across the board with other club fans as well.
After everything that youve gone through over the last few months I hope seeing this little pocket in your dads life shows you what we thought of him.
Take care

This is a true story - In the early 2000's, a big group of Sharks supporters would go to Suncorp Stadium to support the boys. Can't remember the year, but when we were in front we were cheering a singing to our hearts content. I was with Mr Angry and possibly DJDL when Security came over and asked us to "Lower our cheering because the Broncos supporters said we were too loud"

So you know what Mr Angry did.....Hahaha!

Fantastic memories - I also remember his black t-shirt with the big shark (Not NRL gear) he was his own man.

R.I.P Mr Angry.
I was there too Fiz. Oh happy days they were.

I am very sorry if it is weird using Dads account to reply but I don't have my own. This comment meant so much to me,thank you! I'm so glad he shared his life with people on here as you all seem like a tight knit group.

You stay happy, healthy and positive in this a hard time for yourself and your family.
Anyone willing to share moments like your wedding day with folks in this community says a lot about him as a father, family man and ultimately a human being.
Thank you for the messages - it means a lot to all who grace these pages.

Just shows how great this place can be, seems we all use it as a little escape from reality (or a whinge about the reality). I’ve never met any of you, but I probably communicate more with you lot on here than most of my good mates in ‘real life’.
As sad as the news is about Mr A, how lovely that his family get to see how he was thought of on here.
I really hope reading this has helped at least raise a little smile for you Little Miss A in what is undoubtedly a very sad time.
The Mr A’s awards sounds like a great idea btw!

I was there, remember it well. Doesn't seem so long ago either.

This is how I remember your Dad, I saw him a few times after, getting a bit more grey like we all do. So grateful you posted this, thankyou so much Little Miss Angry.

@Mr Angry Little Miss Angry,

Thank you for taking time to post in here, and for uploading the pic.
If it's ok by you I'll be using it as my avatar in tribute for the remainder of the year.

It's years since I last saw him, but this photo is pretty much exactly as I remember him.

You probably won't pick up on this while reading over this thread, but there have been many posts from forum members expressing their sadness from outside of the Sharks community.
Even Dargons fans! (yes, I know that's a typo - forum inside joke, and one which your Dad would have latched onto :D).

I hope you can take some solace in the number of posters coming in from outside the Sharks forum to express their sympathies and pay their respects. It is a true indication of the esteem in which he was held in here, and of the man he was.

He was a well-respected member of our community, actively engaging in conversation across many topics, and while I can remember him having disagreements with others, I can't remember him ever being abusive or disrespectful.
You come from good stock.

I hope you and your family are all doing well in the wake of his passing.

Just want to thank everyone sincerely for sharing their memories with my father! I just sobbed with happiness reading this thread. He was immensely proud to have been a member of this community for 20 years and spoke of it often. I am so glad he had a group of like minded people that he could share his life with and make valuable friendships. Thank you again for being a part of his life, you meant more to him than you know.

Just saw this thread and I'm gutted on hearing the news, my sincere condolences for your dad's passing.

I had quite of few interactions with him on here over many years and whilst I never had the privilege of meeting him in person, he seemed like a great man.

Hey mate, that's such a sweet gesture and totally fine by me. Must have been one of the only Sharkies games he took me to, around 2000 I think. I'm not much of a sports fan, much to dads chagrin but that has to be one of the best memories with him. You better believe I'll pick up where he left off and support them as much as I can! lol

It is wonderful to see all these messages, I've been checking religiously to cheer nyself up. Also, thank you for explaining they are coming from all over the place because you're right and I had no clue.

It really really does and you guys have made me very happy in a really rough time. Dad and I were extremely close and still lived together up until his death. I saw him and shared my life with him every single day, so it's been a struggle.

Little Miss my condolences to you and your family. You sound like a real close knit family, which is rare these days. As Betty White once said, your dad knows the secret now, the secret that only those that have passed know. I like to think that the life we know isn’t the end and that in many ways it’s a test. I’m rambling. Just know that it does get easier as the years pass but never easy. All the best and you’re welcome here anytime.

This is so incredibly sad. Mr Angry wouldn't have been an old man and has gone too soon.

Thanks to Little Miss Angry for informing BBB and sharing the pic of yourself and Mr A. I too would like to use it as my avatar for a time.

This is the end of an era. Mr Angry was the very first person to post here when we migrated from the old O forum. That was in 2005. Some of us were fortunate to meet the man himself and everyone here got to enjoy his iconic and often bizarre sense of humour. Angerman was also a keen student of the game who kept it short but always conveyed thought provoking insights on the game

RIP Angerman,
