Les Norton is technically correct, however officially Parranöyd is correct. According to official statistics, Alanis Morisette's Jagged Little Pill holds the record for the highest selling debut album for a female artist. The technicality lies in the fact that her first two albums, Alanis and Now Is The Time were released only in Canada. Jagged Little Pill is her debut International album.

Shania Twain’s third album, “Come On Over,” reaches sales of 13 million. It is tied with Whitney Houston’s 1985 eponymous debut as the second best-selling album ever by a female solo artist. It is surpassed only by Alanis Morissette’s 1995 U.S. debut album, “Jagged Little Pill,” with sales of 16 million.

Probably won't be as difficult as m0j0's questions but here goes anyway:

What do Beethoven, Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) and Paul Stanley (KISS) each have in common?
