My attempt at a serious thread

I mightn't use the work enjoy SWJ but the terrible experiece is better if you can have a laugh than spend the time crying.

We were very close. Id go as far as saying closer than brothers and sisters. We even travelled overseas together for 9 months on our 'sewing the wild oats' tour. Him being gone is like a part of me has died.

PS: We never went to Becmoing!

I guess i just wanted to make the thread so people could get things of their chests.
I think the worst part of depression is the lonelieness ad feeling like you have no one.
And i think letting things out can sometimes help. I wasn't looking for pity, i was looking to help others.

I went through a small batch of depression during Year 12 exams (over them and others things) and the most loss ive suffered was during Bali 2002 (lots of eels fans were affected by that one, we lost two really great girls)

Dani, Bazal, TMP, i admire you guys to be able to look back on those parts of your life and reflect. I am a good ear if anyone ever needs a chat

aw thanks, i think that sometimes i take for granted how lucky i am though!
I was always blessed with a good family, and good friends.. All i ever had to deal with was chubbiness!!!
hopefully i can make up for it by assuring other peoples that you are all top notch in my books!

You guys are very brave and courageous for sharing such deeply personal experiences. I salute all of you for coming out of difficult and tragic circumstances as, hopefully, stronger people.

I know life gets all us down at times but having read Mighty Panther's story, my troubles seem quite trivial. As a parent, I can't imagine your pain, but I sincerely hope life is looking up again.

For anyone who thinks that suicide is the only answer, please remember, where there is life, there is hope.

There are people who put down forums as useless and stuff, but if talking to someone, even on a forum such as this, helps someone from making a tragic choice or helping them see light at the end of the tunnel, then it can be a wonderful thing.

im in love with someone i know ill never be with, and i cant seem to get over it, which is pretty painful thing day to day, and i thought that was vad but its nothing compaired to what here have been through
