Ese Ese had a strong game in reserves . And Moga scored a try and set one up

Strong game? His defence has been woeful even in reserve grade. If he can put a complete performance together then yeah, he deserves a call out. As for Moga, a try and setting one up isn't going to be enough to push out someone like Hunt, who again hasn't put a foot wrong, nor Ramien, who each time he gets the ball - in the very limited opportunities hes had - looks more threatening than anyone else in the side.

Imo Hunt has been solid fair enough . But doesn’t look like he could burst thru a paper bag let alone a defence . Moga on the other hand has that ability

Except in his few games last year he showed that he doesn't do that consistently; that his 2017 form wasn't coming to Newcastle. And doing it in Reserve Grade? lmaoooo

Did you just listen to his press conference . He said the coaching staff (including him ) take responsibility for the loss tonight

I think Brown has figured out the formula for keeping fans happy; apologize for everything...

It keeps fans happy (“i promise we will change”) without ever really suffering any consequences

Moga needs to be in next week. Hunt is alright, but it is literally the only side we attack with and we need the strongest player there.

It’s clear we lack the ability to get the ball out to Ramien. He is a waste.

Nathan has done a great job building the team. It seems he doesn’t quite know what to do with it...

Moga’s performance in reserve doesn’t warrant position especially with Hunt going well. Ese’ese is better than King so he should come in. Thought back 5 went ok with Ramien looking dangerous. Watson did not look right, injury, but made too many mistakes and poor options. Middle forwards good with Barnett so so, Fitz ok. Pearce tried hard but it’s not quite working. Could be without Guerra next week means Sione back in or try Jones. Lino will hold his position as Watson needs recovery time might mean Mann back on bench.

sorry but I just cant agree with this at all. The stats of the team really arent that bad overall but yet again the major downside was Pearce, lack of kicking game, lack of involvement and lack of organizing the team. He has had a run this season of going missing. It's his job to organize and call the shots out there.

Anyone see how many times Levi looked around asking "who wants it " ? Notice Glasby look at Pearce. with arms held high after that try down the middle ?

Pearce is the highest paid player in the team, our number 1 play maker- NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Everything is fine right?

Stop upsetting the herd Slots!!!

They can't take your opinions/thoughts regarding your rugby league team in a forum set up for thought/opinions on f**king rugby league.

Too upsetting for some.

Keep it coming mate !!!

Hahaha.

Having crap players play crap is understandable but having rep players playing crap is a worry... We have literally the best prop and fullback in the game. Should see our attack improve or noone can argue for Brown.

After today I reckon it's time to go, his position has become untenable.

I think Anthony Griffin may be the guy to look at.

Brown sounded very deflated in post-game conference. Sounds like he cares as much about the loss as the players.

Who is an upgrade? Feels like just about anyone would do. Just someone who can get the players playing like they are capable of. Nothing special...

Yeah pass on Griffin, if/when Brown gets the arse, should we giving Woolfe or Sheppard till the end of the season or bringing in someone now?
