I almost bit, but sometimes I forget how stupid you are Alsmug.
You have my pity.
You have my pity.
unless youre a queenslander and you smack a woman in the face
Still think Morris should have shifted to the wing with Idris at centre. With Merritt, size was always to be an issue along with his poor defensive reads. We need to match Qld's size out wide. Did Qld actually ever attack out wide on the left? Every single play was designed to give them space to attack Merritt and it worked like a charm. Should be his only game, his defence just isn't good enough for this level
LOL @ the Burrow banners after the Origin 1 side was selected
"NSWRL doesn't like us we don't care" - Obviously you do or you wouldn't of written it on a friggin bed sheet.
and
"Dopey Daley has no Merritt"
LOL
Maloney was worse then pearce
At the start of the year I would have laughed you off the forums but Idris has been pretty good all year.
People can argue that Daleys game plan was for Merritt to rush in, but he stuffed it up.
He had a shocker, and has to be dropped. No excuses.
Sad to say it, but that is the facts.
The moron inside him did no better, and never has either, but supporters from their club always come up with some sort of excuse.
rubbish, josh morris has contained inglis pretty well in the past. dumb daley decided to change the game plan and use merritt as a ramming useless defender because he obviously shit himself when he realised who he picked, or picked him to lose and make him look bad to shut the media and fans up.
Sorry mate but either you cant count or your eyes are painted on
The numbers are there and Merritt made a huge mistake by coming in, repeatedly.
What because GI didn't score in a game last year?
How many series have they won now? He has been there for how many of those games and been shown up?
Merritt won't be there in game 3, so there will be no excuses.
The numbers are there?
Imagine Merritt way out on the right marking Boyd. That leaves Morris marking Inglis, Slater plus Thurston on his own. Somebody had to come in there much earlier and attack Thurston, but Pearce and Lewis are standing back on their heels. It doesn't help that Pearce and Lewis are drawn by the decoy here too, leaving the outside men fending for themselves.
Merritt was told to rush up on Inglis. Still not the right choice here, but if that was the plan then obviousl cover from behind was part of it too and cover made it in behind, there should be no excuse for Boyd to push off Dugan and Pearce so easily.
Merritt shouldn't play another Origin, but lets not scapegoat him for other players who shouldn't wear the shirt again either
