So assuming Tinks empire does in fact fall over, does the club revert back to the members, or can the Fat Man sell it off? If it reverts back to the members and they get their $20m, its win/win.

He can't sell it for another 9 years. The members club will get a buy-back option at a price of $1 during the same process that will unlock the bank guarantee.

And of course the big issue is Bennett. He is signed to HSG. If HSG goes under I doubt the club can afford to pay him well into 7 figures.

I was just thinking the same thing. But the knights would be the only coaching vacancy for 2013 so I can see him taking a paycut this season to coach Newcastle. 2014 he'll take someones money though i think.
