The Sonics have nobody. Durant is not a franchise player yet and the veterans (the very few) suck ass...They will be a lottery team for the next 3-4 years imo...

What's the bet Durant demands a trade...

you a pacers fan? ... ah you got great taste in teams :D

ron artest was the man for JO7 but his departure was JO's downfall ... artest was the franchise player, JO was the 2nd man and my boy reggie was a shadow of his former self putting up solid numbers ... JO didn't handle being the franchise player much the same pau gasol didn't but he'll go well like pau has at the lakers

that pistons brawl really f**ked us up ... our whole season got dismantled and who knows how we would have gone with ron artest ... he really was an integral player even if he didn't want to ball and wanted to rap ... i still see that season as the championship lost because if artest was fit we'd have taken detroit in that series

but don't worry tinsley will be gone soon enough, he's been shipped around for so many proposed trades it isn't funny and TJ ford is really running things ... when dunleavy jr comes back we'll be alright ... add to that danny granger and we have a solid foundation to build on we just have alot of garbage outside ford, dunleavy and granger but marquis daniels seems to be doing alright so here's hoping he can prosper

i've got a JO7 jersey and you can turn them in for like a 50% discount on a new pacers jersey ... if it works with the throwbacks i might see if i can ship mine out for a throwback

Hahaha yea mate, great minds think alike.

Yup that very sad day 4 years ago has screwed our great franchise. Since then Tinsley never played the same, Artest we had to ship off or risk losing most fans and then Peja didn't work out, Jo become seriously injury prone, Miller Retired, Captain Jack and Al being shipped off for 2 over-paid players and a 'gem' who never lived upto expectations. A tough few years for us, but its ok now the future is looking brighter.

I'm Hoping we can some how trade Tinsley and Dunleavy/Daniels for a good pf as that's what we are really lacking at the moment. I love the TJ and Jack combo at the point and Rush could be a great role player one day and his defence is great already. Granger is getting better by the month, just hope he develops a bit more of that 4th quater X factor. The one where they just take over like Kobe, Wade, Lebron etc. I think Hibbert has showed promis apart from getting in fould trouble too easily, but if he over comes this he should be our starter in the next few years. I'm also liking the way Rasho is playing for us, and we may need to look at re-signing him next year, as he really streches the D with his great mid-range jumper and good inside presense on D.

I also have a JO jersey, getting too small for me now also so even better. I will definantly look into that as I would like a tj or granger jersey.

Durant will be a franchise player and will be ALOT better now he is being moved to his natuarl postion of 3 and playing some 4.

He should have been playing there from the start of the season as playing him at SG was ridiculous imo.

My thrill for this year is riding the Thunder to worst record of all time. 1-15 as it stands, I reckon they need to to get to about 2-25 before it becomes a possibility though.

HAhaha well said TT. I got home from work to check the Pacers expecting a 10+ hiding but instead a 1 point victory. How good are Granger and Ford!?

We are now 2-0 against the best of each confrence, looking to make that 3-0 today, unfortunately I dont like our chances lol.

granger really is on fire and TJ ford is 900 x better than i thought he would be ... i knew he was good but i wasn't sure how he would fit into our structure

man we can really score some points this season ... point scoring has seriously been an issues since the artest/jackson departure ... we're really just a PF away from a side that can be gel'd into a promising team

our next few days are ridiculous ... @ boston, @ cleveland, home to boston ... we've beaten boston already and off the back of a win over the lakers the boys should be pumped ... need to fix that 7-10 record

Can't complain we've just beaten the Lakers and have beat them already this season.

Agreed, if Murphy continues to play like this an put up a double double every night some team might bite on him and one of our wings and take:pray: Tinsley:pray: and get that dominant big man we so badly need. Otherwise if we pick high this year there are supposed to be some pretty good PFs in this draft class and that would really make a great core to build around.

Lakers with a good win over the Sixers. Kobe's the man. Despite what many pundits say, we're still not a good defensive team. The fact that we gave up so many against Indiana and the Sixers says we still have alot of work to do. Can't remember if we've kept a team to a score around 70-80 this season.

our problem of the last 15 of so years has been we've always been in this middle area of no man's land unable to improve ... we haven't been good - bar 2004 - to live off our current roster and compete and in saying that we haven't been bad enough to get high draft picks ... last year was our highest pick in a long time and we still didn't get a good enough pick to snap up a lebron or a wade or an oden etc... and we've been consistently one of THE worst traders in NBA history ... only the pacers would trade away draft picks for the deepest draft in NBA history

The Lakers are a very good defensive team, it's just they play at the third fastest pace - only Golden State & New York play faster. They have more possessions, therefore they concede more points. But if you get past the opponent ppg they're playing at a very high standard.

Having said that, they've played one of the easiest schedules to start the season, I think the back-to-back against Pacers/Sixers was only their third or fourth, plus 7 away games (or 6, "@" Clippers) pretty easy going.

I can see where your coming from. For example the Lakeers are one of the best teams in terms of opponents FG%. But still i'd like to see us have the capabilities to lock down a team, i mean we found that out the hard way last season. I guess coming up against good defensive teams like Boston and Cleveland will be a good indicator as to where we are really at.
