Yeah, an irregular heart beat or something similar. Apparently it's just how he is but the NBA medicos are super careful so he had to sit out for for long periods doing nothing.

1st game, 3 mins and his only stat was 1 turnover!

How bout that Bynum. 42 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in a 108-97 win over the Clips. I was amazed he was allowed to take that many shots. Hopefully he can produce more performances like this.

I think Kobe deserves a shout out for continuing to play with only 3 of 5 fingers from his shooting hand functioning properly.

its ok but he did it against deandre jordan who also put up massive numbers for someone that rarley plays
23 points 12 rebounds 4 blocks and only 1 turnover against the best team in the nba

Exactly. DeAndre Jordan made just his second start of his career and he's played just 20 total. Let's see Bynum show up:

a) against a quality opponent; and
b) more than once a week

before we get carried away.

I don't see where i annointed him as the second coming of Shaquille O'neal? Just pointing out that its an impressive dispay, even if he was playing against a patsy. I was amazed because its very rare for Bynum to take so many shots (24) in a game. As i stated in my post, i hope he can produce more performances like it. If he does, the Lakers will be alot harder to beat come play-off time.

Bucks gave the Mavs the mother of all hidings today without there best player (Bogut).

Charlie V really playing well but its a contract year so its difficult deciding what to do with him, but the brother can flat out score. Ramon Sessions also probably put paid to the Sessions/Alexander - Conley/2010 1st draft trade that was being proposed.

I've always found Villanueva a bit of an enigma. He's a talented guy, but has never shown an consistency throughout his career.

I'm interested by the situation in Detroit, with their guard log-jam. They currently have Rip coming off the bench, although i'd personally rather have AI making an impact of the bench.

Comfortable 99-85 win by LA over the Spurs. Bench came up big time with Ariza and Farmar in particular playing well. Bynum seemed to have a pretty good on Duncan with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. I like the way Kobe is playing atm. With the current depth the Lakers have, he doesn't really need to take more than 20 shots per game.

How bout that Andrew Bynum. Seems as though he's regaining his form from last season. Avergaging 26.2 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks over his last 5 games.

al jefferson owned him today

More like Bynum cancelled him out. Sure he scored more than Drew, but than again, Big Al took more shots than Kobe to get to his 34, while Bynum took 15 shots to get to 27 points, pretty efficient offense. Not to mention that Bynum out-rebounded him 15-13 despite playing 12 fewer minutes in the game.

I feel a bit for Al, its a travesty he's not in the all-star. One of only 3 guys 20/10 guys in the league.

And just as you say that, he goes down...

It doesn't seem as serious as last years, X-rays came up negative although i'll wait for MRI results. We should be able to handle a couple of weeks without him, as we did for alot of last year.

Bynum out 8-12 weeks. There goes any chance of a championship.
Hahaha, just as I was wondering whether this would mean Kobe goes back to taking 25+ shots a night, mid-way through the second quarter against the Knicks he has 14 attempts in 14 minutes!! Granted he's on fire, but Odom has 1 attempt in 11 minutes. hahahaha

Wow, 20-20 from the free-throw line, thats D-Wade type treatement. f**k Bynum, hopefully its not like last season where he didn't come back all season. Even if he does come back, he wont have enough time to get to the form he was starting to develop. Your right Tiger, watch out all you score-keepers out there, 30+ shots Kobe is coming to an NBA arena near you.
