And that Ridnour to the Wolves deal has been confirmed. WTF are they doing in Minny? They must be looking to trade Sessions, although Ridnour is just as bad, but older. Makes no sense.

Think they are going to ship Sessions and just trying to get someone above the age of 25 on the roster

They're not going to get anything of real value for Sessions. He's a back-up, shoot-first point guard with no 3-point range. He'd be a nice piece on a playoff team (Magic), or maybe a team starved of offence (like the Bobcats) and I actually would like to see him on the Magic as Nelson's back-up. He's good on the P&R and would bring some offensive spark to the second unit, something they're lacking at. What they get back is the real question though, so it doesn't make much sense to me for the Bucks.

 Billy King, former Sixers GM, just appointed as GM to the Nets

How'd this guy get another GM role in the NBA, FMD.....

The Sam Dalembert contract was King's favourite of mine.

Not that I can talk, had to put up with Billy Knight absolutely massacring consecutive drafts (05 & 06), where we could have ended up with Chris Paul in 05 (Marvin Williams) and any number of decent players in 06 (Shelden Williams). Of course, had we taken Paul we probably wouldn't have got Al Horford in 07 (was top 3 protected to the Suns) so there's a silver lining in there somewhere...

Bell spurns Lakers for Jazz? Not confirmed, but great signing by the Jazz, terrific fit. Of course that probably means they won't match that mammoth Wes Matthews contract.

Edit: Only issue is the length of the deal. Bell will be 34 at the start of the year, had injury problems last year and was starting to slip 2 years ago at Charlotte. I'd hope the Jazz only partially guarantee that third year.

I like what i'm seeing from JJ Hickson for the Cav's.

Lighting it up.

Just needs to improve his defense and he'll be fantastic for them.

And Lucas for the Bulls...hits 6/6 from 3-point line...pressure much for having Korver and Reddick coming in.

Ogilvy not getting any minutes.

For the Clippers Aminu and Bledsoe are very impressive along with Davis and Griffen they should be very competitive this year imo.

Bell was forced into coming back early at the bobcats. I read an article about it and he wasn't happy about it. He will be a very nice fit in Utah.

D-Will/Bell/AK/Al Jeff/Okur/Milsap is a nice rotation for the play offs. Shouldn't have let Korver walk though

After getting Jefferson I thought they might look to move Okur for another wing as they had Al, Millsap & AK with Fesenko and Koufos as well, but now it looks like Koufos was included in the Jefferson trade so wonder what the Jazz will do. Still think they need some help on the wings and Okur is the most able to be traded so will be interesting to see whether he's moved. Although I'm intrigued to see how he works with Al, would seem to be a fantastic offensive (but horrible defensive) match.

And just saw that McGrady is going in for a workout with the Clippers next week.

Ouch

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Golden State Warriors say top draft pick Ekpe Udoh will miss six months after undergoing surgery on his injured left wrist.

Udoh underwent the operation on Wednesday in San Francisco to repair a torn ligament in his wrist. He will have his wrist immobilized for about 10 weeks. Udoh injured the wrist at a supervised workout at the team's facility earlier this month. He was selected sixth overall out of Baylor in last month's draft.

The Magic picked up Chris Duhon as Jameer's backup.

Yeah but Duhon should really be the third point guard, not the back-up. At least not on a team wanting to compete for the championship.
