From what I've read, Warriors fans aren't too pleased that the local guy, Larry Ellison, didn't get it. Apparently he had the highest bid.

Looks like Scola agrees to terms with Rockets, 5 years $47m.
Woah Scola got paid!

Nuggets have also signed Sheldon Williams (who I think could still be an ok bench player in the right system)

The Denver Nuggets have re-signed G Anthony Carter and signed free-agent F/C Shelden Williams, team Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announced today. Carter, 35, spent the past four seasons with the Nuggets, averaging 5.6 points and 4.5 assists in 204 regular-season games. In his 11-year NBA career with Miami, San Antonio, Minnesota and Denver, he has averaged 5.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 566 games.

The Warriors won't announce the extent of rookie Ekpe Udoh's left wrist injury until they get a second opinion Monday. Early indications, however, are that Udoh will need surgery and will miss 4-6 months.

Ouch.. Still can't believe they took Udoh!

I like the Williams pick-up for the Nuggets, they were thin up front and he could provide some reasonable production for 10 minutes a night. He is what he is - a wide-body who can rebound and defend. As your fourth or fifth big man you could do a lot worse.

Still can't believe we drafted him 5th overall......sheesh what a horrible pick.

As previously believed, ESPN radio in Atlanta is reporting the #Cavs are close to sending Shaq to the Hawks for Marvin Williams in S&T.

 yuck from the hawks... Surely you would be better off keeping Williams and trying to use the MLE to get Shaq?

hahahaha Ridders that is the best thing i've ever seen. David stern is cracking me up! lmao at west..

I also read a petition by heat fans to make the nwo theme song the heats intro song.. That would be awesome!

Been talking about that Shaq / Williams swap for a couple of days.....don't think (hope) it has any legs. Cavs want Williams but the Hawks aren't going to give him up.

What a tragic end to the Marvin Williams era that would be (if the trade went ahead). Sure the dude is never going to live up to being drafted ahead of Cp3 and D-Will, but to get traded for 38 year old Shaq..Yikes.

Looks like Magic are going to keep Reddick, which means theyll probably lose Pietrus. Bad move.

And as a result

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls agreed to a deal with unrestricted free-agent shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, according to a source familiar with the situation.

It's a three-year deal worth $12.5 million, although the third year is not guaranteed.
Brewer, 25, began last season with the Utah Jazz before being dealt to the Memphis Grizzlies near the trade deadline. He played five games with the Grizzlies before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.

He averaged nine points and three rebounds last season after averaging 13.7 points during the 2008-09 season. Brewer is the third former Jazz member to join the Bulls this offseason, joining Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver.

The Bulls turned their attention to Brewer after the Orlando Magic matched the Bulls' offer sheet to J.J. Redick.
