Miami 20 - Lakers 14

First quarter was again scrappy. LeBron is simmering though (8pts-4Rb-2Ast). Beware Lakers. Kobe has started pretty average (0-4 FG) barring some classy assists early to the brilliant Odom. We looked strong against their big men, we held our own in the first. Promising.

COME ON HEAT!

Gasol and Bryant = 1/13 FG

A big reason as to why we are leading by double digits. Our defense is championship calibre and we are proving that here against arguably the league's best in the defending champions. Won't be good enough for the haters no doubt ;-)

Bryant heating up, hit his last three shots including a beautiful jump shot of the glass on a bitch of an angle from the assist off Gasol. We are defending brilliantly. A great defense with this offensive talent won't be stopped this season. At our best, there is no better team in the league I feel. Argue or you want, there is no team that will stop us if we defend like this and the offensive firepower ignites.

Gasol Bryant = 6/21 after first half.

Ron Artest wanting to piss of James is a recipe for disaster in my opinion. Good luck Ron.

Our trio;

James: 11pts (4/8) - 4rb - 4ast
Wade: 10 (4/10) - 3 - 5
Bosh: 18 (8/12)- 8 - 2

The "other guy", Bosh, is playing brilliantly. We have this.

I don't think we can defend much better Ridders so we can only regress in that department which plays in to the hands of Kobe, Gasol and Odom. It's going to be a classic second half and finish I feel.

Lol at Artest careening into Magloire. Also lol at the fact that he couldn't dribble.

Heat looking slick.

Agree. Just played hard on defense and it went from there. Nelson came up big late in the fourth.

Scrappy start to the Miami vs LA game. Kobe is 0-4. I have a feeling LeBron is going to bust out here and have a big one.

The turning point for me was when Pierce beat Turk late in the 4th and was going for a layup and D12 came from no where and blocked the shot, then Jameer hit those pair of 3's not long after, the momentum then changed and the crowd got involved and got the Magic home.

For anyone has watched the Heat AT ALL this season, can't argue they aren't gelling as a cohesive unit right now. Jam the "look who they have played", they are schooling the 3-Time NBA Champions on the road on the back of a good win at Phoenix.

It was always going to take time for Miami to click, they are starting to look like a threat now, add to that Mike Miller, when he gets fit they have more offence to impact off the bench.

Nice little run there for LA. Big Z is screwing with Pau's defensive positioning, pretty much always taking him out to the perimetre. Don't understand why they don't switch it and have Gasol on Bosh and let Odom stay on Big Z.

Where is the MVP chants for LeBron? ;-)

LA can thank Artest for pissing him off. It never works. You piss the guy off and he takes your team to school.

Heat up 75-64 at the end of the 3rd.

Bynum's gotta work harder to get better positioning in the post. I don't like him catching the ball outside of the paint and then trying to work from there.

As it was always going to do which some on this forum couldn't accept. They put up ridiculous standards to protect their opinion from being proven incorrect. More on that later. Miami if they close this out have won their ninth straight game on the road.

The scary thing for the NBA and the haters - they will get better.

Now that was great from Lebron. Two defensive possessions in a row he's attacked and disrupted the Kobe pick and roll after Kobe's passed it to a teammate, and the Heat get buckets from both LA turnovers. They are good to watch on D.

That was odd. Good win for the Heat on the road LeBron did what he wanted but LA man what was up with that they looked out of sorts and a few easy baskets had players shouting at each not something you see from this LA team in recent years.

Jackson's interview at the end of the third was funny very pissed off and what he thought he thought were stupid questions, love it.
