Miami deserved the win and played well but in the end its a regular season game in December, there is a long way to go and i know we will get our act together.

Agree. I'm interested to see what Bynum can do this season. I don't feel that LA can win the title this season unless he's close to a 100% in the playoffs (which hasn't been the case the last 3 seasons).

Rajon Rondo, has he been THAT impressive this year? I've never seen him knock down a jumper where he looks comfortable or that it looks like going in and for his 13 assists the guy is averaging 11 points which is way short people compare him to Stockton for his assist numbers but Stockton in his prime was averaging 15-17 points across the years and the first two nights without Rondo step in Pierce for a double-double then triple-double. Not hating on the guy I like him but he needs to start banging in the jumpers before I take notice of him the way I'm looking at D-Rose or Derron Williams and I'd love to see a jump shot% and a layup% for Rondo and I swear if I hear another Amar'e/Ewing comparison I'll lose it completely.

I do agree in that I think that Rondo's massive assist numbers are making him a tad overrated. He definitely doesn't belong in the Cp3/Deron Williams class. Funny thing is that his lack of an offensive game almost makes him the perfect PG for this Celtics team. Means that he'll often go out of his way to find his teammates, which would help in satisfying all the weapons they have. Plus he's a very good defensive point guard, which when you think about it, is pretty rare among the elite PG's in the game.

The Amare/Ewing comparisons are interesting because I'd assume that it'd be Knicks fans that would be brining it up? Yet I can't imagine a Knicks fan who followed the team during the Ewing era could fathom making that comparison (at least not yet anyway).

Bit unsure what to make of Tyreke. After his 20-5-5 rookie season, figured he'd be a lock to kick onto better things, however he seems to have regressed this season. He is playing hurt, so that does explain some of it, still disappointing.

Dirk injured his knee today and left the game, ESPN said he's been carrying it for a while, i guess he'll likely miss a few games, it may give Shaun Marion a chance to start at PF.

Hopefully he isn't out for too long.

Magic with 3 wins in a row.

I really don't understand why the Nets aren't giving Favors serious minutes. They're one of the worst teams in the league anyway, might as well let your No.2 pick get some burn.

At rim: 61.5% (09/10: 64.2%)
< 10 feet: 58.3% (09/10: 50.4%)
10-15 feet: 28.6% (09/10: 46.9%)
16-23 feet: 45% (09/10: 33%)
Threes: 31.3% (09/10: 21.3%)

He's a career 43% shooter from 10-15 feet so I'd expect that percentage to improve over the remainder of the year. The comparison to Stockton is more appropriate for me in that they are both the same style of point guards. D-Rose and even Williams are the primary options for their teams so it figures they shoot and score more. D-Rose in particular blurs the line between the 1 and 2 guard spots.

Lakers lose third straight for the second time this season - which is also only the second time since the Gasol trade - despite sub-par nights from both Manu and Duncan. Things are not looking good in tinsel-town.

Not to mention all 3 losses have been 10+ points. They havent just been getting beat, theyve been embarrassed.

Nice 40 points dropped by D-Wade at home against Knicks...nice. Great 8-game stretch, dropped one game against Dallas.

What was this about? I heard Kobe got schooled by Parker, three frustrating games for Kobe and three straight losses. The Lakers don't look like the defending Champions right now.

Magic now 4 straight, the last two were sub par teams, they are looking pretty good considering only 1 practice so far since the trade, they have played 6 games together already.

Gilbert and J Rich played well today, they bring alot of new energy to the team, Jameer and Gil look ok on court together, its suits Jameer playing off the ball, because he can just worry about shooting the ball, Hedo doesn't look like he ever left, he knows the system and jut plays what he sees.

The last few games Dwight has got in foul trouble and the big have handle things good, BB and Ryan Anderson are doing the job, even Earl Clark got good minutes today and showed some promise.

I agree with you Ridders on Derrick Favors, the Nets need to just let him play now, like 30 to 35 minutes a game, what have they got to lose (nothing). Also let the other young bloke play Damion James, he's got some game in him, Travis Outlaw is garbage and just wasting minutes, like Hump is, yeah h'es getting 10-15 Rebs, but doesn't do much else.

I hope they aren't sitting back back waiting for this Melo rubbish to sort itself out, just get on with it and the let the young lads play.

Could the Dirk-for-MVP movement have asked for a better opportunity to stake his claim than a Dirk-less Mavs losing to a short handed Raptors team?

I dont know whats going on with the Lakers atm but im not gonna panic just yet. There are still 50 games to get it right before the playoffs and i believe in this side, we are struggling badly right now but we need to start turning it around soon and improve on defence before we worry about anything else.
