It could easily be a bunch of players 'backing' Henry(the ones he has shown faith in & gave a go looking over their shoulder at Hayne plodding it up).If that were true why are a bunch the players allegedly "backing" Hayne?
Again, it's easy to blame the underperforming star, but Hayne doesn't make the rest of the side play like soft cocks. Seems to me the obvious answer here is that Henry has lost a group of the players, including Hayne, and Hayne is the easy target in the whole mess.
Realistically it's probably best for the Titans to move Henry on and then not renew Hayne when his deal is up. After all, he's not the sole issue, but he's still on a big deal that he's not living up to. Start fresh.
No doubt Henry will get punted because the Titans board are now not wanting to look foolish in bringing Hayne on board. Not what should happen but will.
