IT?S no secret FFA boss David Gallop is looking to place a new A-League team in Sydney?s south, where soccer has record junior numbers. Interestingly, Western Sydney Wanderers? foundation boss Lyall Gorman is about to be appointed CEO of the Cronulla Sharks.

Cronulla officials would love to see their ground used for 12 months of the year instead of sitting empty from October to March. A combined administration similar to the Knights and the Jets in Newcastle could be an option.

The combined admin would allow costs to be split as well saving some more money for the Sharks

The olympic sharks were run out of shark park but were they made redundant when it switched to a-league?

I think it is a great idea if they want to run operations out of shark park, we use our assets for 12 months and probably generate further income via leases etc.

I doubt he will come to the Sharks but hope I'm wrong. He has several offers to consider and I've been told if he goes to NRL it is most likely the Tigers ......as I said hope I'm wrong as he would be the man capable of getting the place running properly.
