And also take the opportunity to announce that the Eels are looking to recruit free agents or new players into our squad of writers for the 2009 season - and you don't have to be a Parra fan!

If you think you might be interested, please click on the team thread and introduce yourself - http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=125062&page=32 - and one of the team will respond. Or if you like you can send me a PM about it during the off-season until the team captains re-emerge.

We were a squad of 9 players last season, but with 4 of those people only available to post very occasionally, and I suspect we will be down a few players in preparations for this season.

It was on the back of two F7s debutantes that we managed a late rally to scrape into last year's semi-finals, so there will be plenty of opportunity to join them and get a run at the Eels if you are a new F7s player, or an existing player looking for a change of team for 2009!

So let us know if you are interested in writing for the Eels team, and best of luck in your F7s experience in 2009. :thumn

The Rabbitohs would like to announce the signing of Dave Q for the coming season

He had this to say:

I enjoined my formative F7 years with the bags who gave me my start when I was an unknown, as a result, I will always be a bag at heart.

Competition is tough within the bags with many talented players vying for limited positions. Nobody at the bags is ever assured of a game, form is the only basis for selection.

On the 13th of January 2009, after a few approaches by different teams, I sought and was granted a release from the bags in order to develop my own game within a team (souths) that I know is on the cusp of great things.

I am very pleased and excited to be granted this opportunity to join this club, which is definately on the up.

It is my hope that I contribute in a positive way to the teams development.

The Ozzie Roosters are excited to announce a major signing for the upcoming season with premiership winning former Titan Robster joining the side, keen not only to play for the new side, but to also pay his tribute to the great Ozzie.

The Ozzie Roosters side unfortunately has also taken a bad turn with captain Monk unable to fulfill a full-time role. I will take the captaincy but will also be soon to name a co-captain.

The team is building in numbers, and finally has hit the double figures we are proud to say.
