If J.Reynolds or Plodkinson are picked, I'll still riot!

Gotta be Sezer, with A.Reynolds next best.

I'm a huge A.reynolds fan, and have wanted him for years but he is way down on form and condidence and being shoved into origin at the moment could destroy him.
My biggest problem with picking guys like sezer, austin, tedesco etc is that they haven't played high pressure games. No origin or tests, no finals not even those high pressure late round games to secure a finals berth. To have a team, especially a spine, filled with those players could be a recipe for disaster. I think for the halves Maloney is the best option for one spot at the moment

Well thats the conundrum...do you pick guys down on form like Reynolds, or guys high on form and confidence like Sezer? He hasnt played a test or finals series, but that doesnt mean he wont fit the bill. Hes still taken the reigns in some big matches and with Maloney next to him and decent forward pack, I think 'lack of big matches' is an odd reason to not pick him.

All players have no big match experience, right up until their first big match!

Hope that helps you :)

Both Brad Fittler and Craig Fitzgibbon came out earlier in the week and suggested that Pearce should give Origin a miss this year and concentrate on getting back into club football. Looks like Pearce listened to them.

I initially wanted Sezer however apart from round 1 and v the dogs he has been underwhelming. Understand he has had injury problems but he hasn't stood out and said 'pick me' like most of us hoped he would.

Not necessarily. I'd consider moylan as having big game experiences, from the games that got panthers into the top 4 in plus the finals series that year. Ditto A.reynolds but he hasn't got the form at the moment. Maloney and J.Reynolds had played in Grand finals before their selection etc..

So apperently Pearce won't be able to to stand down from origin without Standish down for the roosters for some reason. Considering one of his reasons for standing down was to help get the roosters season Rolling (amongst the whole getting his life back on track thing) it may mean incredibly that Pearce will be picked despite even himself not wanting to be there.

And the circus continues...

That sounds so completely geniused that it's probably true. Don't know why Jamie Lyon got to play for manly all these years then.
