So apperently Pearce won't be able to to stand down from origin without Standish down for the roosters for some reason. Considering one of his reasons for standing down was to help get the roosters season Rolling (amongst the whole getting his life back on track thing) it may mean incredibly that Pearce will be picked despite even himself not wanting to be there.

Matt parish (NSW assistant coach) was on triple m, speaking of city/country he said 'the certainties like Robbie, Klem and Jackson were asked to sit out'

I just died a little...

We've lost 9 out of the last 10 series and had our arses handed to us in game 3 last year. No one should be a god damn certainty. Clearly Daley is as big of a dribbler as a coach as he was as a commentator. FMD! #-o#-o](*,)](*,)

With Morris injured gray should get one of the wing spots
3. Jennings
4. Dugan
5. Ferguson

That's set in stone after the test match. Throw Coote or Moylan at fullback. Tedesco when fit. It's not likely Gray is ahead of all the contenders for the remaining spot.

He carved up a bloke out of position on the back of Cartwright and Peachey running riot.

We all know Hopoate will get that last spot.

Back in 2010 when Jamie soward was in good form following a breakout season in 09 and continuing that form into 2010 ( all the way to a premiership) the media asked jamie Soward if he thought he was ready for origin he replied that he wasn't sure. After he said that Laurie Daley and the other sectors used it as one of the reasons not to pick him. Now that Pearce has had numerous origin fails, personal problems and said he doesn't want to pick, suddenly it's a case of Laurie saying he's still looking into picking him

I'd be ok with this. I think Frizell deserves the spot over Peachey, Merrin over Jackson and Scott over Bird/Cordner. The spin is spot on though.
