No way. Thurston will be shitting himself at the thought of Jackson running at him all day and smashing him every time he runs/passes/kicks.

Yes I'm sure he wakes up sweating and screaming from nightmares featuring the sound of plodding, plodding, plodding...

It's pretty sad when you're hoping for one of your own Knights players to fail.
How did it go for you last year hoping Dane would fail? 52 - 6
Did you cry yourself to sleep?
Dane will rise to the occasion yet again.
It's a real shame he plays with a bunch of nuffies every week when guys like Chambers, Nielsen, O'Neil are fortunate to play in such good teams.
Chuck them all in a Knights jersey and their names wouldn't even be mention for origin.

Good to see you reply to a post when it suits you.:D

Just like how they try to target him last year?
Daley's tactic was kick to Boyd's wing much as possible in game 3 last year.
Daley knows Dane is dangerous in kick returns.
Is when Dane takes one out hit ups he struggles and gets pushed back.
But with Oates in the team hopefully he shouldn't need to take too many of those.

NSW coaches and players have proven themselves to be dunces in the past but all should be lambasted for eternity and their darkest secrets shared with Rebecca Wilson if the ball is kicked to Corey Oates even once in the 3 games.

Current form is what makes nsw think they can win every game every year.pity you lost 9 of the last ten series because we can lift for 3 games.

i know. this gets me too. instead of focusing on attributes, folks in NSW always crap on about form. if form was the be all and end all, then you'd select a different 17 every year.

sure, form and eliteness are not mutually exclusive, but the ultimate decision being one about form is ridiculous.

I'm still yet to see an official 17.

Is there any chance at all that this is the team Daley will take in:

1. Dugan
2. Mansour
3. Jennings
4. Morris
5. Ferguson
6. Maloney
7. Reynolds
8. Gallen
9. Farah
10. Woods
11. Cordner
12. Frizzel
13. Bird
14. Moylan
15. Klemmer
16. Tamou
17. Jackson

Im just happy to see us look like we want to score points.

Moylan, Maliney and Reynolds suggests we might try to attack for a change. Gallen and Bird will have no idea what their roles are though. If they aren't taking hitups in the opposition 20. What exactly do they do?

meddling as they always have. add farah to the trio. you could have Thurston, Cronk and Slater as your spine. If that NSW three are there, they'll always f**k it up.

For the NSW spine to be able to do any work in attack, Daley needs to get Farah to stop putting on plays for himself. Year after year the guy goes for selfish plays, often overcalling his halves and his plays do sweet FA when he does. Farah has ability but his constant derpiness in Origin peeves me beyond belief.

Big side.
only 6-7 and sort of 14-9 are smaller fella's.
not sure what that'll mean in SOO.
nsw backline looks good.

Defensively imo that's a side that can contain QLDs backline. I have a feeling if Dugan is selected in the centres alongside Fergo on the wing they'll get carved by JT Inglis Oates and co

Morris will atleast hold inglis at bay

Pretty good. Anything to keep Walker out of the side!

Jackson adds nothing from the bench, I would either swap him with Frizzel or leave him out of the side.

Unfortunately there's not a ball player amongst the lot of 'em, so it'd mean anther bash and barge fest. Moylan will be fullback, it would be the height of stupidity to bring him off the bench. If they hadn't wanted him, they would not have selected him. The idea being to have Jenko/Duges running off his passes and maybe even passing it themselves to the wingers (this last one might be too much to ask). You know, backline movements. Something we haven't seen from NSW in the best part of a decade.

Id call Moylan , Reynolds and Maloney ball players.

Reynolds, Maloney and to a certain extent Farah are all capable of creating opportunities..having Moylan on the bench won't make much difference

Playing Moylan form the bench would be a daft idea. Who would you bring off to put him on? Farah? If so, has Moylan ever played hooker as neither Maloney nor Reynolds have let alone Dugan. He is not sizeable enough to slot into the backrow, and he would not be used to the work rate expected of those positions.

Also, I think Moylan offers more variety in attack from fullback than Dugan will. Dugan is not a noted passer of the ball.
