This whole NSW idea of not picking any match winners/game breakers and going with a side that's as safe as possible has to be one of the dumbest philosophies against this QLD team with its spine and experience.

It's as if they're somehow betting on coming up with a series victory by some sort of miraculous fluke or divine intervention.

Watching NSW is like watching an idiot who has a bucket with no bottom attempting to collect water. He takes his bucket back to his idiot friends who scold him because there is no water.

He of course, blames the bucket.

They need three things to happen.

1. Cronk to break his arm on the first tackle of the game
2. Daly Cherry-Evans to wander aimlessly around the field
3. Dave Failor to be selected and think he's a half

Bird or Graham to left second row for Cordner
If Bird plays on the left, Gallen goes to 13 and Tamou run on prop. Frizell onto the bench.
Austin/Cartwright/J Bird in for Walker (not your fault, the selectors and coaches are f**ktards for 1. selecting you in the first place and 2. Using you so poorly)

Well what else can you do? Concede defeat after losing the first of a 3 match series by 2 points?

What really needs to be understood here was that Qld weren't all that good, its just that NSW were a tiny bit worse.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Or maybe NSW just need to defend extremely well like they did that year?

A quiet game by Tedesco in a badly beaten team yet he scores a try and sets up the other two

How about that Daley

And Moylan didn't have a great game either, also in a losing side. He was safe under the high ball but not much evidence of the much vaunted ball skills.

Still, Jimmy is going to have to wait until at least game 3, and more likely next year. Once you've gone with a bloke, you cannot just change tack after just one game. It sends a very poor message, not to mention the pressure the replacement would be under, knowing he too would be dumped if he put a foot wrong.

I don't see why not, NSW have been doing it for over a decade.

What tickles me is that when QLD gets a mountain of possession on the Blues tryline and wallop the Blues, the cry goes up: "Well of course you guys are going to win with that much of the possession in that part of the park getting that many repeat sets".

So what happens when NSW get that much possession in that part of the park with that many repeat sets?

Very little.

Wby cant a player be dropped after one game? It happens all the time in test cricket. Are rugby league players so precious?

Tedesco is the best option at fullback. It should be a no brainer because we lost the game in the spine
