Peats is very good and Damien Cook at the Dogs last year looked like he could have been a future blue... Too bad he's rotting away at souffs.

Keep cook as far away from a blues jumper as possible. The last thing we need is a smaller version of robbie farah who can't tackle

MG reckons this is the way to go for Game 3?.

1. Tedesco
2. Mansour
3. Leilua
4. Dugan
5. Trbojevic
6. J. Bird
7. Maloney
8. Woods
9. Peats
10. Fifita
11. Frizell
12. Cartwright
13. Jackson

14. Moylan
15. James
16. Klemmer
17. Merrin
Agree with most of it except Leiluia. If the idea is to build to the future from a dead rubber then I'm not really convinced he is part of the equation. He has historically had as many bad seasons as good ones

I've been a critic of the Walker selection but he was good enough to hold his spot in game 2. And he isn't even at his best form

Jennings and Masnour's side has leaked all but one of Queensland's tries this series, they have both got to go.

Absolutely none of it was Mansours fault. Jennings can take the lions share of blame, especially for Gagais second try. He consistently misreads the attack

It's a shame though cause in previous series, Jennings has been amongst our best. I guess Qld running most of their attack down the other side helped

Here is an idea as a winger, stay on your wing! Yes Mansour wasn't totally at fault but stop coming in and gifting Gagai the easiest meat pies available.

The winger has to follow the centre that is basic shit mate. If Jennings goes in like he did and Mansour stays out its still a gift of a try, Gagai or whoever passed it to him just strolls through a huge gap between Jennings and Mansour. After Jennings made that stupid decision to rush in and tackle no one the the only way NSW were going to stop a try is if Mansour could come up with a play on the ball or a freakish tackle, if he stays out he just gifts them an easier try closer to the posts.

You cant fault Mansour or Jennings for the last gagai try, id fault Moylan for that and the long range Gagai try was mostly Jennings and Maloney, you can fault Mansour for not taking the pass but that would be pretty harsh.

Mate, the wingers job is to come in and take the man outside his centre. If there are 2 then he takes the inside man. Its better to rush the centre and have a chance of stopping him passing to his outside man than to just let him stroll over without resistance

Its what wingers are rightly taught to do. It only comes unstuck if they chose to come in on a man already covered

NSW have performed in the exact same fashion over the past 11 years regardless of who has been in the 7 jersey. Clearly it's not the guy in the 7 who has been the problem

I think you'll find no one is dumb enough to blame Pearce entirely for the past 5-6 years

He did however contribute significantly, which to anyone but a few blind Roosters fans, is clear as day

For all his shit plays, its actually his immaturity and dumb attitude that pisses me off about Pearce. Nothing highlighted this more than his stupid mouthing off at JT in game 2 last year when absolutely nothing was won. Speaks volumes on the guys mentality.

Mistakes i can forgive but that shit is unforgivable in my books

Klemmer has lost every round with Papalii.

This was a dumb comment in the ratings, and is dumb to keep perpetuating it.

Fifita, GBird & Farah are also in the middle with Klemmer. It's not an exclusive one on one battle between Klemmer and Papalii. Likewise, Papalii is on with Smith, Lillyman and Thaiday at that stage of the game.

Watching the same gif over and over again does not constitute bombing multiple overlaps.

Reynolds cost us game 1 with shithouse goalkicking - the primary reason he was selected. He tossed away possession and field position with terrible kicks in general play - the other reason he was selected.

This is my point exactly

Had Pearce of played this year the same result would have happened and he would have been solely blamed as usual. Reynolds seems to escape the same scrutiny which is mystifying given he had two very poor games. All of a sudden, now that the golden boy is at number 7, NSW have all these other long term issues that need to be addressed.

Can anyone argue that NSW didn't look better once he was off the field?

Tbh looked very dangerous when Bird came on

I'd be tempted to go

6. Bird
7. Maloney

Then shift Moylan into the utility role to make way for teddy

Moylan is not a utility. He should be either the 1 for NSW or the 1 for Penrith (ie not in the NSW side at all), seeing Hook doesn't appear interested in using him at 6. Those suggesting playing him off the bench seem to be acknowledging that he does not deserve to be dropped.

What I think will happen is that Moylan will be the 1 and Tedesco will have to wait until next year. People have had to wait before. It won't kill him.

I don't watch much sharks games but Does Jack Bird even have a kicking game?

There must be a reason he's not the 5/8 at cronulla. Pick a true 5/8 not a makeshift one

Why did he buy Hardaker then?
I see that as a move to get Moylan into 6.

I think they wil pick Tedesco for game 3. Moylan can play the utility role this year with him looking at the halves next year if he is in good form. Tedesco is ready now and the better FB so there is no point holding him back.

They also need to get Cartwright, Paulo, James,Roberts, Peats and Graham in there with Frizzell, J.Bird, Klemmer, etc

Tamou can go and has Fifita ever done anything in origin? He is up there with Tamou.

Astute post.

He has a limited tactical kicking game. They toads would just shutdown the 7 and let Jack kick all night long.

If they want Tedesco so badly they should drop Moylan altogether. He's not a utility. Let him play for his club.

However, I don't think Moylan will be dropped. I don't think anyone will be dropped in fact, Daley will stick to his guns. They'll be looking for a half if Reynolds is crook, that's all.

My guess is that the plan is to use him in the centres, putting Peachey back to the bench. Our biggest problem is our defence, especially in the threequarters. This Hardaker might bolster same.
