Then you get yourself a woman. For you, I'd stick with mail order...or you could go deep sea fishing off the coast and find yourself a pretty little asylum seeker.

I've given up following sponsors since we had Powers as sponsors.
That stuff made me so crook I still have nightmares about it.
I seriously think about buying LG's product all the time only because they sponsor the Sharks but to date have not done so.
They certainly have made me aware of the product so it must be doing the job.

geez thats rugged, what about brewers?

No. One thing Powers did was drive me back to the mainstream beers.
Tooheys,VB etc.
I find most other beers are overpriced and over-rated but everyone has different tastes so if you like it drink it.

just on the subject of sponsorship, do you support the sponsor where possible?

would you support it if it wasnt a favourite product of yours, remember when the club changed the beer at the leagues club, did that affect you.

what if the club chose a pet food product and you used say lucky dog and the sharks were sponsored by pal? would you change?
whiskas vs dine??

its a tough choice for the club , remember gary hocking even changed his name by deed poll to whiskas to help his club.

there is more to sponsorship than meets the eye!!

I buy LG products because they sponsor the Sharks.

I'll buy PAL for my dogs.

If the Sharks were sponsored by a product that I found unsatisfactory I would not buy it just because they were supporting the Sharks.

I bought a massive flat screen a few months ago to support LG, and I used to have an LG phone and DVD/VCR player.

Phone was a piece of crap.

Cronulla sponsorship made me a Pepsi drinker. I wouldn't buy LG unless it was the best on the market however, and typically, LG products generally have a fairly poor reputation.

Generally a Sharks sponsorship wouldn't make me buy any differently unless it something entirely superficial (as in the Pepsi vs Coke argument).

I think sony is a lot of crap, They used to be good when all of there products were made in Japan.
Now there all made in China or Korea.

I own one LG product - my notebook. It's a piece of sh*t.

It's not like they mark their gear with "Proud Sponsors of the Sharks" ticket or sticker so apart from money they don't give much back.

I like to support sponsors.

For example, when The Daily Planet sponsored a couple of cars in the Australian Touring Car Championship (the forunner to V8Wankercars) in the mid 1990s....
