Even driving in the Parra CBD is ruined by the Light Rail. Which doesn't go out to Penrith.

I think potentially could go ok on Sunday but weeknights will be a poor crowd. How many new sponsors/members will it bring in? I can't see any.

So get the money you can elsewhere. If extra members/sponsors come from it is a bonus.
To host Magic round you get paid. As to certain grounds it limits the damage

Trains between Penrith and Parramatta are as short as 25 mins, then a short walk. Perhaps the club could organise shuttle buses between Parramatta station and the stadium to ease the burden a bit. I really don’t see much advantage in selling games to other locations, in fact I think it could be a negative to on field performance.

Aren‘t the club likely to run buses between the leagues club and the stadium as well? I’m sure they’re working on a plan to minimise the disruption.

Anyway, I hope they settle on 25k seats. It gives us room for some growth whilst not being too big that a 15k crowd feels empty. I’d like to see something architecturally unique about the stadium as well, as long as it doesn’t compromise viewing angles or wet weather protection. Getting as many dry seats as possible should be high up on the list, the rainy season in sydney is March to June.

Something that might offer a compromise for those who want a grass hill is a safe standing terrace. You could do this on the southern end where there’s less room for a grandstand.

Not sure why the Government is contemplating building a new ground at Liverpool rather than at Campbelltown though.

It's a no brainer that the Wests Tigers base themselves out at Campbelltown.

That's one of the problems with Wests Tigers - 3 clubs in one and none on the same page - Old Balmain (Leichhardt Oval) Western Suburbs(Ashfield) and Wests Campbelltown.

Another one being former Balmain players somehow thinking they should be involved - It's Wests Tigers not Balmain anymore or Western Suburbs for that matter - those days are long gone.

Nowadays you have to have all seaters - What is the funding that's being allocated? - enough for a retractable Roof - how many dressing rooms ( 4 at least -2 home and 2 away) - Penrith like all NRL clubs will have a NRLW team most likely playing on the same day/night as the NRL Men's team.

Macarthur FC owners have long pockets and I don't see them failing. They were willing to spend up to 300 mill on renovating the ground at Campbelltown if Wests Tigers would commit to playing there full time - They didn't so that was that.

Safe standing is also seats, note the picture. You can lock the seats in position or you can leave them up. Having an area like this might help the stadium attract some soccer matches as well.

I‘m certain there’ll be both mens and womens change rooms, but there won’t be the money for a retractable roof.

This is off topic so I’ll make it my last post on this, but their crowds are abysmal. Even rich people will get sick of throwing good money after bad. If they needed Tigers to make it viable their pockets can’t be all that deep.

100% correct. The safe standing areas at Comm Bank are easily interchangeable Depending on needs, fixture etc
