This is off topic so I’ll make it my last post on this, but their crowds are abysmal. Even rich people will get sick of throwing good money after bad. If they needed Tigers to make it viable their pockets can’t be all that deep.
Crowds also align with team success .tiger poor crowds poor

Suspect most fans would disagree. One or two extra at Bathurst is fine, but it’s a long journey out there for most fans. Parramatta is 30-40 mins.
Maybe Panthers could get a deal going for a supporter train timetable between the Blue mountains and Parra. Having a train stopping all stations, and an alternate train stopping at select stations such as from the Blue Mountains stops, then Penrith, St Marys, Blacktown then Parra. The same going back.

Anyway, I hope they settle on 25k seats. It gives us room for some growth whilst not being too big that a 15k crowd feels empty. I’d like to see something architecturally unique about the stadium as well, as long as it doesn’t compromise viewing angles or wet weather protection. Getting as many dry seats as possible should be high up on the list, the rainy season in sydney is March to June.

I put a few MLS ones in mine

Red Bull stadium and TCL ones in particular

25k or so but look nothing like we have here

Both are vital to getting people to attend. No point going if the view is better at home
The camera angles are going to be much better. Look at Parra's and Brisbane's angles, and that is an example. The angle we have ATM is dire.

Word is you can't build on one of the Hills.
Safe standing, wheelchair seating etc make sense in that case

Both ends are actually quite tight, but the southern end is the tightest.

I wonder if they’d consider encroaching south or north? South more likely because if you went north you’d have to close the Ransley St, but that’s not necessarily impossible.

South has the sewage Pipes which affected last upgrade too.

It is why I am expecting something like Townsville has. The upside is standing area for those who prefer.
which also is wheel chair seating

Parra is good to see. Though day games have the sun in the face so undercover to go with that

The Eastern grandstand is a pain in the arse for watching games with the sun in your eyes. I hope they have the ground running East to West.

I am guessing it will be like Parra and have 1 side corporates. If it follows that then the East should get the pleasure of that

Can’t run east - west for day games.

Leichardt used to run east to west, caused too many issues so they changed it to north - south.

Flat not exactly ground height.

Hard to explain how Townsville does it. It is a pretty good set up there

Have you been to Parra? That green part where the BBQ is. It is like that but a whole end of the field.

Click on here. Bay 117 I was in for Origin

Those Green boards are the viewing areas. they Also have a great pickup/Drop off area which could work on the Paceway side

The accessibility seating at Comm Bank is fantastic, perfectly positioned just about all round the ground. If it is anywhere near similar at our new stadium, it is a huge win for persons with a disability .

Townsville is the same but just more of it due to only having 3 grandstands

Nice planning. I went to Cairns in March and took a drive down. it is a nice place.

I am going to a ground I haven't be too for my 40th. Cbus wins

We’ve been to there old stadium, long time ago, Rhys was still playing for us, maybe 2005. So yes looking forward to a week in a resort on Magnetic Island and taking in the game.

You’ll be impressed by CBus Stadium it is a fine stadium, a little out of the way, so you’ll need to plan ahead as there is no parking at the ground so public transport, hotel shuttle or Uber/taxi will be required. There was a pub nearby where Panthers fans used to meet before the game, one year we were there Gus organised a speaker to attend the pub and interact with fans pre game. I don’t know whether this still happens now.
