it actually was becoming successful before they decided to pull out since they weren’t getting any tv money and focus on their own domestic comp

super rugby can’t have a decent comp without long travel to either Japan sa or Argentina but that’s the reason they kicked out sa

the reality is nz and australia on their own probably can’t sustain a strong stand alone competition long term having to compete with the nrl juggernaut
