I'll give you an A for effort this time round given that you haven't tried to move the goalposts, but I'm still looking for confirmation from a source from the NRL itself rather than a "journo" who posts on twitter like he's your long lost doppelgänger.

Well done warriors, good to see some support away from home... especially since Wellington at the start of the season looked only half full, maybe if they scheduled that game vs the knights later in the season, maybe sky stadium would have hit capacityHome game in Hamilton sold out

Rugby is a religion in NZ and it unites families believe it or not.It isn't so much about fans ditching union. It is attracting the most talented athletes to the NRL. Fans generally follow the best athletes. That doesn't mean they ditch old loyalties but pick up new ones.
Then stretch that out over 20 years or a generation or 2 and who knows.
There are more ppl wearing Warriors jerseys than ABs jersey around Auckland these days.Rugby is a religion in NZ and it unites families believe it or not.
Kids growing up want to play for the All Blacks, it's endocrinated into them.
You ask any 18yr old over there who would they rather play for...All Blacks every time.
Code switch after completing their dream to chase the dollar is their second choice...I could be wrong as I haven't lived there for over 20 years.
They only follow league in south Auckland... so they must be all driving down to watch in Hamilton? LolHome game in Hamilton sold out

Gotcha. Do you live in Auckland because when I was there, what you said was the reverse? There are more ppl wearing Warriors jerseys than ABs jersey around Auckland these days.
Regarding attracting the best athletes, every kid wants to be an All Black until an NRL team comes along and offers them triple the money. While the top ABs get paid pretty well, in coming years as the NRL cap grows at 75m per season the nzru will have a fight on thier hands keeping the top talent at schoolboy level...aka the next generation of stars.
I think you're both wrong. There are more ppl wearing Warriors jerseys than ABs jersey around Auckland these days.

Is that the biggest club rugby crowd in Waikato this year ?
