New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

Second NZ team has to be based on the North Island. Three quarters of New Zealanders live there. I'd put it in Wellington and promote it to the southern half of North Island. Warriors can have the northern half. If there's ever demand for a third team down the track then put one in Christchurch.

I agree with the population split argument. The advantage Christchurch would have though is the stadium. The Cake tin sucks.

Plus from what I’ve heard both wellington is less of a sporting city compared to Christchurch and has less of a rivalry with Auckland.

They won't beat the Broncos that I saw this weekend 😳 can play!
So yeah, week two.
If they finished top two they get two home semis so they could’ve made the gf

3rd spot they won’t beat brisbane in Brisbane or Penrith in Penrith them a prelim in either city

Isn't Eden Park an oval?
More of a square than an oval. Stands are parallel to the sidelines but set back a bit. It’s much smaller than the AFL/cricket ovals here.
Sightlines are comparable to Accor but without the ridiculously distant nosebleed seats.

Yes but the smallest in world cricket for international games. It’s a bit of a hybrid cricket/football ground.
It actually has an exemption from the ICC to allow it to host games because it’s below the normal minimum ground size for first class cricket.

16. “Auckland were due to play an NPC game against Waikato at Eden Park on September 15, but in an unprecedented move, this game has been switched to Pakuranga United Rugby Club, freeing up Eden Park.”

They moved Aucklands game from eden park so the warriors could use the ground

If that's the case good on them but I'd take a guess and say they decided against the rent on an empty stadium 😉

No you didn't, I was merely asking you to provide evidence of your claim, something you've still only partially done through a link your buddy provided.
That’s the funniest thing about this forum is people moving goal posts when they are blatantly wrong

I never expect people to admit their error it’s fun just seein em squirm out of it

Bro, you're full of tutae, I have consistently asked for evidence, not made any claims otherwise, while you have floundered around trying to make me bet with you and posting links not from the NRL etc. It's all easily findable in the thread.
