New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

Josh Rogers born and raised in Perth, debuted for the Bronco's this year.

Were his parents from Western Australia?

The Goodwin brothers weren't native to Western Australia. They're touted as WA juniors. They moved to Perth when their brother Luke signed with the Reds.

Many of the Brisbane Bears/Lions players who became starts in the 90s and 00s were from Victoria.

Any growth in Perth will rely on expatriates from NSW and Queensland building the pathways in Perth. Not good for State of Origin.

Evergrande is the tip of the iceberg

they have ghost cities everywhere in China

iron ore has been a miracle for wa and guys like twiggy but that’s why mining shares now are pricing in a bad scenario for iron ore

An older article the number of empty apartments has skyrocket

I'd have thought WA's ability to attract long term immigration from NZ and the East Coast, thus creating WA born Rugby League players would only be considered a positive. Congratulations on somehow turning that around

Another expaimsion thread not about Perth, somehow becomes, about Perth
It's like there's 1 self serving prick that's in Perth ( not even from there) that only cares about himself and wants a team close by.. so draws every thred into a debate about there...

Just imagine a job comes up some place else.. he moves and every single debate...he suddenly disappears from..
Imagine Perth Red has to move from Perth... I f**king guarantee he wouldn't give 2 f**ks about a Perth team. Guaranteed.

Wb and gobshite can’t help but go there, sad really but some people are just obsessed and have me stuck in their heads lol

can pretty much guarantee they’ll bring up wa jnrs, iron ore prices, tv not wanting perth, crowds in 1997 infinitum, hull in every thread.

heres where this one started
I don't understand the obsession on here with ignoring RL heartland. If there's demand for a team in RL heartland then it deserves just as much consideration as a bid from a city that doesn't care for the game. There's a limit to how much talent the heartland can produce for expansion teams in Adelaide and Perth.
then gobshite, Wb and mugab just couldnt help themselves lol

Imagine if bellends like you didn’t feel the need to raise perth in every expansion discussion thread lol

With internationals playing across the planet:
Tonga
Australia
New Zealand
Samoa
England
Fiji
Cook Islands..

It's been great watching the talent on show that came out of Perf...

That's true but he was born and raised in fiji till age 9, moved to Sydney where he played juniors- ultimately moved to Perth and played for Joondaloop ..
Hardly a Perf product!

I don't know the other dudes he's suggesting but the fact they are but a handful speaks volumes!
Hunt is the only notable NRL player and he was born and raised in Sydney with a brief stint in Kalgoorlie ffs
Should just get the 18th team in Kalgoorlie, the Kalgoorlie Red Kangaroos
