Poor dears playing in modern all seater stadiums pvl didn’t say something nice about them lmao
Kinda makes me think..maybe we should bulldoze the stands on one side so it's just a hill, remove the facilities and replace them with portaloo's ... leave it like that for a 100 years.. so they can get in the conversation with the suburban grounds in Sydney?
Then they'll be happy right?

For years they whinged about Sydney's suburban grounds being shit. Now they're whinging because there's an emphasis on fixing these grounds.

Worse stadiums than Canberra:
Brookvale
Leichardt
Shark Park
St George
Wollongong
Campbelltown
Belmore

There's many plans and discussions about locations for new stadium in Canberra that are currently being considered with articles in the Canberra times WEEKLY..
there is zero need for PVD to be addressing this stadium issue, not only because IT IS ALREADY BEING ADDRESSED! but there's much worse stadiums that aren't getting WEEKLY articles that are far worse then Canberra stadiums ( Bruce)

My god you speak shit!
These guys might be able to help you with your reading skills-

BTW; the discussions about a replacement for Bruce stadium started in earnest 16 years ago and had been going on unofficially since about 1999/2000.

There's been no real progress in that time, just repeated feasibility studies to delay for time. The closest it came to getting over the line was in 2013/14 and it fell over in part because the NRL outright refused to engage in discussions with the government about it. You could probably count on one hand the amount of times an NRL CEO or ARLC Chairman has discussed it publicly, meanwhile they're dial a quote about throwaway lipstick on the pigs in Sydney many of which should simply be banned from hosting NRL fixtures.

In comparison Manuka Oval has had multiple major upgrades and some other minor renovations in the same time period, and the AFL independently sourced a developer to make an unsolicited proposal for a rebuild. The AFL CEOs, GWS officials, and others are also regularly in direct contact with the government about potential further upgrades, are always available to the media for a quote, and regularly put pressure on the government for improvements that would benefit their sport and league and there isn't even a local AFL side here.

In other words no it isn't being addressed, the NRL hasn't taken a hands on approach in the same way they would in similar situations in other markets (namely Sydney and Brisbane to a lesser extent), and at times they've been directly responsible for delays to the stadium development.

Since when did 'modern all seater stadiums' include 50 year old poorly converted athletics tracks that have no modern amenities, are poorly designed for the local climate, have concreate cancer so bad that you can see through the cracks, and leak raw sewage...

You choose to play in shitholes, we don't have a choice.

He didn’t say that at all actually.

Yes he did.

He said they can't look at stadiums because they are currently looking at a new team. And they couldn't do it before that because they were planning vegas. And they couldn't do it before that because of the Dolphins.

He's saying they can only do 1 thing at a time.

Im sure they were all happening in an overlapping instance along with CBA deals, and god knows what else, you oversimplifying it as a line item doesn't make you smart, just shows what a negative tool you are

Go back and read the post I responded to. I'm not the one saying they can't look at stadiums outside of NSW because of those things.

The fact that you are attacking me despite agreeing, proves you are one of the people who doesn't actually read anything, you just make assumptions.

Most of your posts are baseless assumptions on what you incorrectly think other people said. I suspect you deliberately lie because you're a miserable troll.

If the NRL doesn’t move and capitalize on the current floundering state of the super rugby competition then it would not only be a missed opportunity but a huge blunder by the game.

No assumptions, you're an arse, an negative one at that, and if i have to go read 5 pages back to see where your stupid flame war started, then its not worth reading about, but the end result is the same you carry on like a butthurt salty wanker, on every thread, commenting on trivialities that mean nothing in the end, just look how you try to justify the ARLC doing nothing or that they are too stupid to do anything that isn't one at a time just by finalsays comments, ...who the fụck cares mate
