They'll realistically have 10 years to fail, that's how long they have funded and how long it will take for people to get used to the idea of papuans playing the sport at the highest level, good on them, not sure why everyone assumes any club will "fail"
Not with grants being so high, and the fact we have clubs like Tigers, Titans lingering at the sour end of the ladder most years, and AFL doing the same with Suns and GWS (if they didn't manage them to be relevant) PNG won't fail, not in any metrics that would result in losing a licence, and not to a cashed up new bidder, it would be far easier to just hand out more licenses than to accept defeat, licences don't really cost the arlc anything but a slice of the broadcast pie
