Did anyone ask them what license fee they put in the box? Easy to not have to defend yourself when it hasn't been leaked to the media.
Fair point, and I think one of the real advantages of NZ bids is that they've not had to deal with the media scrum around rugby league in Australia - so could more easily stick to a NDA.

I guess a pertinent question is "Where have the Perth leaks come from?", as it might not even be the bidder's fault.

So they didn't do train wreck interviews saying they were blindsided by the NRL, publicly discrediting the organisation?
Lol
You backed a bunch of peanuts, then acted like one yourself.
I have a theory you are said peanut... I mean what are the chances??

The leaks have nothing to do with the fact that A: they chose " no bid" in a bidding process..then B: publicly shamed the NRL in a couple of radio interviews shaming the NRL, saying that they were " blindsided " .
And C: they weren't even blindsided, they were told several times months ago that a significant sum would be expected!

Unless you're Perth Red...and Perth Red..is = Peter Cummins!!!

That's bs and you know it, you were talking it down on the previous page.

Point me in the direction of a post where I was talking up a booming NZ in 2022 ..
You started this troll thread in Dec 2022, the Warriors season didn't get going to hype levels until about 8 rounds in. I pointed out there was a thread in the NZ section of the forum discussing the poor state of league in NZ at that time.

Which proves what exactly? That you were wrong then and still wrong today?

Troll thread?
That's been consistently supported for nearly three years up until today on every metric- literally almost quoted word for word in a NZ publication a couple of months ago..and reiterated just today by one of the bids...
Pretty successful f**king troll lmao

Should go bump all his posts where he said a second nrl side would have little impact on union, that league juniors in nz were collapsing, that the warriors crowds would fall once they started playing poorly or that the nrl nz tv deal is going to get cut

Or where I told him that the main reason for the drop in juniors was due to covid and will bounce back..
How you can be so wrong for so long and still maintain such arrogance is only possible for Union tossers.

It didn’t come from them, the media started announcing they had put zero in the license box before they had even spoken to cumins. Vlandys has played this out in The media since grand final day when he announced to the world the bids weren’t acceptable before he’d even talked to any of them.

WA won the wooden spoon for bids. They not only came dead last for bids but didn't even gain inclusion in the bidding process..
Losers.

Over 10 years you've been on here advocating for a team.. finally got an opportunity to put in a bid..what was it? Zero.. you bid Zero
You must be gutted. You put all your faith and they bid Zero.
lets see how this ends before having such smugness, he who laughs last and all that.....

Dude, you've been talking up a bid that requires 50% ownership from fans that currently don't exist. I wouldn't go criticising any other bids.

One Kiwi had an opinion piece about what the future of RL could be in NZ, and you and @Wb1234 are doing a victory lap??

Every private bid has been rejected, so they are all wooden spooners.

And PNG will be the wooden spooners for the next decade or more.
