Looks like those bastards over at Canterbury are trying to sign up Luke Walsh to a significant deal.[-( $100,000p.a for a guy yet to play first grade. I think we'll have a good chance of keeping him since we aren't chasing a halfback next year and the club is looking to replace Johns from within.

Barry Toohey's Castle Call in the Sunday paper. He said that the club wouldn't give up Walsh without a fight because they weren't actively chasing a halfback for next year. Toohey's source was Crowe.
