Player availability issues will still be there, It will just go to having 1 game each day. Which won't affect 7.

Take NYE, Fox had a game at 3.30pm. That is the nothing timeslots that will go

True. However, according to media reports, a number of "name" players had declined to sign to play in the BBL due to its length.

There is the UAE tournament
SA one that clashes.

NZ play tests during the BBL, Their opponents can't play
Australia guys can't play nor can their opponents
India has banned their players playing in other comps.

All of those reasons affect player availability and not sure you can fix it and suit the local market

I got the dreaded Kayo email that their prices are going up. I sent them a kindly-not so kindly email to shove their prices up their arse as they over paid for afl.

not sure how many people will drop Kayo but we’re all getting charged extra partly due to the afl tv deal and other rising costs

No surprise. An increase in rights deal equates to an increase in Kayo price. But it’s an increase in the AFL rights and NRL fans have to pay for it.

100% the NRL fans are paying for it. With the cost of living increasing, there will be customers leaving Kayo
Doubt it, it’s still at a low enough price point to be worth it for every game plus nrlw plus SL. For people transitioning from fox it’s still a much cheaper option plus Netflix than the old full fox package.

we might see some drop off from telstra customers though who got 12 months at $5/$15 For 2022. that’s a steep rise to $27.50 for them.

I doubt it, Price went up but you still have the same sports. You also have to factor in the NRL rights have gone up too

Brisbane too if Broncos have less FTA games then they might need to actually get Kayo
One hundred percent this

foxtel knew that was going to be massive for them after all it’s their club

plus extra dolphins games will help

Brisbane ratings are going to be through the roof this year

AFL rights will increase in 2025 as they begin their seven year deal. Good luck to them. . So will there be a Kayo price increase in 2025?

Most likely..

Maybe the only way for NRL fans to stop funding the AFL is for the code to look elsewhere.

inflation will make everything go up though

Other streamers go up too

There is a reason they are paying $20m a year for the Dolphins
