Pereira should be automatic selection. He is a beast!!
Averages a try a game almost and has speed and strength
It’s time for nighty to be rested I’m afraid and there’s no disrespect there but this is a professional sport, its a huge game and we need to select our best available players.

Nah not rested, dropped, retired, out of the top grade...

We really need to step it up, especially in defence and get up in their faces like were doing early in the year. I think Graham has gone off the boil a bit and is playing busted, he needs to recapture that leader of the pack mentality and lead the way. I've been happy with our attack lately, we're scoring some great tries, off the cuff and set plays even in games we've lost but we'd score more if the pack get back to their dominant best and Hunt and Wids improve their kicking which has also gone off a bit.

We can match the Rorter's forwards I'm convinced of that, just need everyone else to perform.

Dragons 13+

On Graham, don't be surprised if he calls it quits at end of season.

kit66 apparently he does have a shoulder injury however it is not preventing him from playing. Hopefully after getting over the top of the crooks this Sunday he may have a rest , I am sure that for a week the other members of the pack can cover for him over some of the lesser lights of the competition.

Graham has played his last few years so called busted.
He is inspirational.

We can match them in the forwards no doubt. Our halves need to pick up their kicking efforts and play to the percentages. Deep into corners, make them work their way out.

My fear is their attack out wide. Given good ball and space this mob can put points on.

Will be a real classic, if we can hang in and stifle their attack. As a massive fan of Flo, I have said this time and again.. He shouldn't be in the squad, but he will.

Big game IMHO.

A win and we can start talking def top 4. A loss and we are back in the field of many. Go Saints,.

I really hope our guys step up and blitz the Rorters this week.

We've been off the boil for a while but started to reconnect last week.
Hopefully, they take it a step or two further and really click.

There's nothing l like more on a Sunday than a stuffed Chicken roast.

I'm too lazy to make the stuffing but shoving a lemon and a bulb of garlic up the chicken's arse is equally as delicious. Here's hoping your score prediction is right but I have an uneasy feeling about this one OKB.

Is that a borrowed quotation from the flamboyant master chef Bernard King ?:smirk:

In my humble opinion:
Widdop and Hunt will return to their best form when our forwards again dominate a game.
Our forwards are one good prop away from dominating a game. The inclusion of Sims on the right side went a long wasy to stiffen up our right side defence against the Cowboys.
The best NRL the Dragons can field right now is:

Dufty
Macdonald
Lafai - right centre
Mann - left centre
Pereira
Widdop
Hunt
Vaughan
McInnes
Frizell - prop
Sims
Leilua
De Belin

Graham
Ah Mau
Robson
Aitken
I like your team, but I would go Latimore on the bench instead of Robson.

Totally agree that kicking needs to be first class. Be it kicks to the sideline or attempts for repeat sets it’s an area that hasn’t been the best in our game for a while. Classic example was the game vs. Melbourne where it was touch footy until Smith decided to kick them as if the game was on the line. We couldn’t go with them. Hopefully our lesson has been learnt.

even if we play excellently, the referees will give us a hiding in favour to uncle nick and the pansies.

It is amazing how some of the money teams seem to constantly receive penalties just when they need them ? Ricky Stuart basically said the same on Sunday in plain every day English just to make sure that everyone fully understood where he was coming from .

IMO there have been 2 teams that have been the beneficiary’s of this for a number of seasons now - the narks and the team of refs from the deep south of the country . His theory was that the television executives preferred those teams as they would receive higher ratings come semifinal time - surely not ?
