By the way, reports coming out from Boldin and Harbaugh himself that there ain't any angst in the locker room and all is well, focus is on winning football games.

Nevertheless I'm sure the PFT beat off will continue...

What did you expect?
Harbaugh to release a statement saying he is a hardarse and doesnt plan on changing, and the newly re-signed vet receiever to announce at his re-signing presser that he actually doesnt like Harbaugh and that he needs to lighten up and that he's not the only one who feels this way, before going on to name names?

Just saying man that there's no noise coming from the team that there is any dysfunction in the locker room other than some shit from PFT claiming an 'inside source'

Again, what were you expecting? Pressers explaining there is dysfunction.

How is this any different to EVERY other potentially dysfunctional locker room issue? As a general rule, when dysfunction is happening in locker rooms the organisation will deny it until it can not be denied any longer, and then they will deny despite it being undeniable until such a time as the dysfunction alleviates, where by everyone finally admits it was a difficult situation.

Or in case you want a recent example, refer to the 2013-14 Tampa Bay Bucs and the short, if not entertaining coaching career of Greg Schiano.

im not saying there is or isnt issues with the Niners and Harbaugh, im just saying the idea that because they haven't come out and announced it to the world, is hardly proof that there is no fire with this smoke.

I hear you mate, what I'm saying is that there is smoke regarding the relationship between Harbaugh and Baalke, there have been reports about this for a little while now.

However the recent shit about a dysnfunctional locker room has no evidence whatsoever other than an 'inside source'

It could be happening and they're covering it up, I agree, however given the success that Harbaugh has had and the comments from players it seems pretty unlikely

Kaep is worth $10-12 million per season IMO. Upside is huge. He is young, fast, durable with a cannon arm. He will learn the intangibles as he progresses but he will get paid by the 49er's.

Personally, I think he is a turd but you can't deny his ability on the field. He can and does make things happen.

Cortland Finnegan says his goodbye to St. Louis

When coach Jeff Fisher took over the Rams, bringing in Cortland Finnegan was an obvious hire, to add the kind of toughness he thought the Rams needed.

With his recent play and his salary, getting rid of him was just as obvious.

Finnegan just tweeted out what appears to be his goodbye to the Rams, saying “thank you for your letting me play for a classy franchise and coach fish nothing but love thank you all.”

Finnegan had a $3 million roster bonus coming due next week, and was going to count $10 million against the cap. That would have been fine if he hadn’t played so poorly last season.

As much as he likes Fisher and Fisher might like him, that made this one a bit of a no-brainer.

nice knowing you finn. you were good the first season but last year opposing qbs had a perfect passer rating against you. time to go.

Levi Brown, Curtis Brown and Larry Foote released, Polamalu and Miller extended, and the Steelers are under the cap once again.

He doesn't want to retire but he will have to take a substantial pay cut to be a situational player on another team. Max he will get will be 3-4 million on a one year deal. Raiders have the money to sign him...

Nope. Broncos have around $30 million in cap space now so they can make a run at Byrd or Ward and re-sign DRC and still have money left over once a few more players are released. Maybe Jared Allen wants to be a Bronco???

I'd wouldn't mind seeing Champ Bailey back in Georgia provided its on a cheap deal. We need a veteran presence in our secondary seeing as though both our starters are only entering their second year

Colts over paying for an average NFL starter?

Surely not...

Is it fair to say aside from taking the can not miss, greatest QB prospect since Elway with his #1 over all pick, Ryan Grigson is has not made many good GM decisions
