Lino won the jump no tackle and Burns gets it. Exactly how it should play out this year and tbh I remember most challenges being like that

There's a lot of variables. How accurate the kick is, the players contesting, their height and mentality, the score even.

The lack of skills in halves these days I can’t see much change

Our biggest problem will be having guys like Mansour and To'o on the wings. They'll be unable to defend the tall wingers that a lot of clubs have.

Our big strength is having Naden and Crichton who are on the end of Cleary's kicking which is above average for the NRL.

And Capewell/Yeo good under high ball it will cancel each other out

I hope so. Remember losing to the Cowboys at the death in maybe 2017(can't remember) with the winger basically dunking on Mansour. That's my concern.
He's already on the way out but this will end his career. He will simply have no single way of stopping a try from a high kick

Yeah he can't physically compete and they've taken his only strength. Even a strip is out because he's at a big reach disadvantage.

Match made in heaven.

I mean I don't know why we (as supporters and fans) even bother getting memberships, turning up to watch them play live, or even watch them on TV.

This is more a rule change that is specifically detrimental to Mansour whose biggest strength is well his strength but they have taken that away from him since he now can't tackle an attacking player in the air. It's not our fault he isn't good contesting kicks and we certainly didn't change the rule.

As for Naden it's a well known fact he was a poor defender in 2019. Now that side might improve with Maloney gone so we'll see. I still see Naden having the potential to be an elite winger though.
