Didnt see Runciman or Beale, must have stayed home, hence we had to endure way too much Green... and we definitely ran too many playmakers too, Williams, Witt, Quinlan, then Rein & Garvey, and none of them were able to really scare the opposition.. but some of that is the 9's though, its so quick and furious, we just cant keep up with that level of power and skill, we need the grind (yawn).

Anyway really disappointing day, id been really pumped for this tournament.. according to my maths if were were to flog the Storm tomorrow, and Panthers beat Souths, then maybe we could scrape in, but lets be honest, our brand of 'dragons footy' isnt working in Auckland.

This has reinforced the issue we will face this year.. We lack speed and and we have absolutely no strike in the centres. Our forwards still seem to be clones of each other with very lite flair and skill being displayed. Most worrying majority of the players just looked unfit.
