Eternal Darkness was a great game but you are right about the fundraising it is quite a big target to hit so hopefully Nintendo can help in some way.

ED is brilliant, I kept the Cube in a draw for the ED/Resident Evil games. ED2 would be awesome to see.

It's about time Nintendo bought back some more franchises other than Mario ones to get the Wii U kickstarted. Metroid, F Zero (imagine F Zero with a track editor via the tablet controller!), 1080, excitebike, wave race...

I should really replay Eternal Darkness and RE4... man the GC was the most under-appreciated console of all time. Its poor sales really weren't justified - the only really big multiplatform game it missed out on off the top of my head was GTA.
It had an excellent library though. Not as large as the PS2s, but just as high quality, if not better, imo

Lack of Metroid and FZero in a long time is very disappoint. Nintendo stop churning out 2d mario rehashes plz

Also Solid Snake (David Hayter) is voicing the main character.

I'd love to get a Wii U, but it really needs to get some more Killer Apps that have must buy written on em.
Lego City looks fab, but atm it's the only thing interesting me...until they convince me I'll stick to 3DS for Nintendo fix. I love Nintendo but they can be bloody frustrating as well! ;-)

Don't get me wrong, it'll be good I'm sure. IMO they new some fresh new games to sell the WiiU. A scrubbed up version of Windwaker isn't it, for me.
WiiU has some good games- but not enough of them, nor any games that make you say I MUST buy this console (yet). With the quality Nintendo is capable of, that is disappointing. I waited for a while to get the 3DS XL, eventually it's library was just too damn good not to. Wii U isn't there yet IMO
