When it was announced, he decided to form a fibre laying company and set to the task of hiring workers and leasing equipment. He went from a battler to a quite well off merkin in a few years. When I say quite well off, i mean he and his family are living large. Big time. To talk to him you wouldn't think he was especially bright but he kicked a goal there with the NBN. Hopefully this year I will get invited to his corporate box at origin. Nah, who am i f**kn kidding lol.
